2 Background Laketran is looking for a vendor to provide custom engraving services for plaques, trophies, name badges and custom orders for awards such as pins. Scope of Work Vendor would be responsible for providing custom engraving solutions for the following types of products: 1. Employee Name Badges 2. Plaques 3. Trophies 4. Pins Pictures of the current items are included below. Laketran is not looking to change its image nor are we looking to replace every badge or plaque. We are interested in a vendor who is able to provide very similar products to what we already have to maintain the same look. If you would like to propose an alternate design, please label it clearly as an alternate. Laketran may ask for additional goods and services not outlined above. The ideal vendor is expected to adhere to the following: 1. Provide goods and services in a timely manner and meet deadlines 2. Be responsive to and/or telephone 3. To keep Laketran s preferences on file so that reordering can be streamlined 4. If located outside of Lake County, Ohio, the vendor must be able to ship or deliver goods to Laketran Headquarters. a. Be sure to indicate if there is a surcharge for delivery or shipping fee Term and Conditions Laketran reserves the right to award work for the lowest, responsive and responsible bid/proposal that Laketran deems is in its best interests. Laketran further reserves the right to award one, more than one or no contracts as may be in its best interests. Payment Terms Laketran pays vendors for services rendered. Laketran will not pay upfront or issue a down payment. Laketran does not pay in cash. Vendors must accept credit card. As a public agency, Laketran is exempt from Sales Tax. Guidelines To submit a quote, you must complete the attached Laketran Quote Form. The completed form should be sent to Andrea Aaby, Procurement and Grants Specialist at aaaby@laketran.com. Include pictures of your work and/or brochures. o Limit brochures or catalogues to only relevant pages for name badges and placards. o Limit total pages to no more than 10.
