3 BSides General Infrmatin EVENT INFO Security BSides is a framewrk f events that enables individuals t expand the spectrum f cnversatin beynd the cnfines f traditinal media. Framewrks such as BSides allw individuals t drive the event, shape the media, and encurage participatin. BSides are cmmunity rganized events put n by lcal individuals with the expressed gal f enabling a platfrm fr infrmatin disseminatin. BSides is an uncnference that fllws an pen spaces frmat. This varies frm structured presentatins t smaller break-ut grups, but bth prvide a direct cnnectin between speakers and the audience. GOALS Majr cnferences fcus n the current ht tpics in infrmatin security. BSides events explre the fringe f cnversatin and fcus n the Next Big Thing. The gal is t fster cmmunicatin and cllabratin while increasing the level f cnversatin. The cnversatin has ranged frm hardware hacking t twitter hacking, and frm gender issues t prximity-based identity theft. BSides gives vice t the cnversatin that is happening just belw the surface, and spnsring enables yu t engage in that cnversatin in the sptlight. 9 SUPPORT TERMS AND CONDITIONS AGREEMENT 1. Spnsrship Agreement: between the event-specific Security BSides rganizer, BSidesChicag, ( Organizer ) and ("Spnsr") is valid frm the date it is fully executed thrugh the end f the spnsred event (r a 12-mnth perid fr Glbal Spnsrs). 2. Spnsr Marketing Use Agreement: Spnsr may use the fllwing tag line n its marketing materials during the term f this Spnsrship Agreement: Official Spnsr f Security BSides and BSides Chicag. 3. Prductin Timeline: In rder fr Organizer t fulfill all prmtinal benefits fr Spnsr, Spnsr agrees t meet all Organizer related submissin deadlines: 3.1. Trademark/Lg, Spnsr URL, Ad (if applicable), Banner display (if applicable), will be sent within 10 business days frm the date this Spnsrship Agreement is fully executed All items will be submitted ne mnth prir t the event r prductin deadline. 4. Spnsr Trademark Usage Agreement: Spnsr agrees t allw Organizer t use Spnsr s trademark/lg/tagline slely t perfrm and fulfill its bligatins under the Spnsrship Kit and this Spnsrship Agreement. 5. Spnsr Trademark Usage: Ntwithstanding Sectin 4 abve, Spnsr agrees t allw Organizer the right t use Spnsr s trademark/lg/tagline and graphics n all f the prmtinal benefits, including but nt limited t: 5.1. The Web banner add t be psted n the event and Security BSides Web pages 5.2. Spnsr benefit items Organizer detailed n the Supprt Package sectin 5.3. Any Exhibit Hall prmtinal banner and signage/lanyard, etc. 6. Web Reference: Spnsr may publish an Internet hyperlink frm Spnsr s website t the event- specific and Security BSides websites, and maintain the hyperlink as an active, functinal, and crrect link t the websites thrugh the duratin f the event and thereafter unless remval is requested by Organizer. 7. Payment: Full payment must accmpany this applicatin and Spnsrship Agreement and be received by Organizer. Payment can als be sent via PayPal. Failure t pay full balance will subject spnsrship t cancellatin. 8. Nn-endrsement: The use f Spnsr's name within Security BSides r event-specific web sites r mailing lists des nt cnstitute endrsement by Security BSides r Organizer f the Spnsr, the Spnsr s services, prducts r prgrams. Additinally, the Spnsr is nt permitted t represent in any manner that such prducts, services, r prgrams have been endrsed by Security BSides r Organizer. 9. Nn-exclusivity: Neither Security BSides r Organizer awards exclusive spnsrship r establishes exclusive relatinships with Spnsrs. Spnsr shall nt imply that such a preferential relatinship exists between Spnsr and Security BSides r Organizer. spnsr@bsideschicag.rg Page 9

Limited Liability: In the event that circumstances beynd the cmmercially reasnable cntrl f Organizer interferes with, r prevents, Organizer frm fulfilling, in part, r all f, Spnsr s prmtinal benefits under this Spnsrship Agreement, Spnsr, by signing this Spnsrship Agreement, hlds Organizer, Security BSides, as well as the irrespective Bard f Directrs and emplyees harmless frm all legal and financial liability t Spnsr, caused by such circumstances, beynd the fee paid by Spnsr fr this spnsrship. 11. Frce Majeure: Neither Security BSides, Organizer, r Spnsr shall be deemed in default f this Spnsrship Agreement t the extent that perfrmance f its bligatins r attempts t cure any breach are delayed r prevented by reasn f any act f Gd, fire, natural disaster, accident, act f gvernment, r any ther causes beynd its cmmercially reasnable cntrl. 12. Rejectin: Security BSides and Organizer reserve the right t reject a ptential spnsr fr any reasn. 13.
