2 We introduce ourselves as a manufacturer of "Filled & Reinforced Thermoplastics". We manufacture Mineral Filled Thermoplastic, Mineral Masterbatches, Synthetic Paper Masterbatches, Glass Reinforced Thermoplastics and other speciality masterbatches. Padmanabh in its unit modifies plastics by alloying plastics with plastics or elastomers compounding with fillers fibrous as well as nonfibrous and incorporate special additives so as to make usable in application areas so far unheard of. Padmanabh also offers special additive masterbatches to enable plastic processors themselves to create tailor made products. All the Padmanabh products have varied applications. In one form or other they'll make their appearance in every household, offices, factories... practically everywhere. Naturally, the demand for these products is always on the rise. It is supported by a well equipped quality control laboratory and a very advanced Research & Development section. The R&D department deserves special credit for being consistently innovative and successful. We also produce tailor made product as per specification given by customer. PADMANABU ALLOYS

4 ~ PRODUCTDATASHEET ADDITIVE MASTERBATCH : ANTI.FIBRILLATING FOR RAFIA. Code Composition: Addition level: Padmacon E-9270 C Calcium Carbonate Masterbatch contains a carefully selected type of calcium carbonate with respecttothe Following:- (1) Particle size and particle size distribution. (2) Dispersibilityand surface treatment. (3) Applicabilityfor food contact. From 3% upto 6% depending on the process. Advantages Mainfeatures: (1) Eliminates or significantly decreases the fibrillatitlg effect. (2) Imparts delustering effect to the product. (3) Allows increase in draw-ratio and hence the tenacity. (4) Increase friction at intersections, which leads to a more stable fabric. (1) Anti-fibrillating: Eliminates or significantly decreases the tendency of fibrillation and hence 'the hairness' of the fabrics. Mechanical damage during weaving is minimised. It allows an increase in draw ratio. And hence increase intenacity. (2) Stiffness: Slightly increases the stiffness of the Rafia, which makes printing, heat sealing, cutting, and stamping easier. This combined with reduced tendency of fibrillating limits, the chances of fabric folds in the final bag. (3) Friction Coefficient: Addition of E-9270 C increases the friction coefficient compared to unfilled polyolefines. Increased stability between overlying tapes gives a more stable fabric structure. Stacking of sacks is made more stable by increased friction. (4) Draw-ratio: Normally an increase in draw-ratio can cause melt fracture, E-9270 C gives the opportunity to increase both draw ratio and tenacity withoutthe problem offibrillating. (5) Faster Cooling: Faster cooling of the bubble imparts greater stability. This is important in places where ambient temperatures are relatively very high. It is a positive effect wherever the draw height is limited. (6) Constant Purging: Presence of the filler-calcium carbonate results in constant purging of the machine and hence a clean machine and a clean die, thus eliminating dark specks in the film and also a reduction or elimination ofthe stipes caused by a dirty die. (7) Non-abrasion: Other anti-fibrillating additives like talcum and silica cause rapid wear of the knives and tape guide. E-9270 C does not create this problem. (8) Opacity: Gives a whitish colour and some opacity, hence reduces addition levels of highly abrasive pigments like titanium dioxide. Bt.Polymers Ltd. Regd. Office & Works: N. H. 5 ~ PRODUCTDATASHEET PADMANABH ELASTOMER MODIFIED THERMOPLASTICS Elastomer modified Thermoplastics are materials which combine the processing characteristics of Thermoplastics with the physical properties of Vulcanised Rubbers. Thermoplastics like Styrenics, Olefins, Polyurethanes, Polyesters, Nylons, Polyimides are modified with suitable Elastomers. In certain grades Elastomer is partially vulcanised by the manufactures, which are dynamically vulcanised grades of Elastomer Modified Thermoplastics: All these compounds are further modified with fillers and reinforcements. Hence Elastomer Modified Thermoplastics have emerged as new class of alloys and blends which can be tailored for the given application. This has resulted in vide variety of compounds in international market. Every compound has some special properties that superceeds the earlier development. Following are two Padmanabh Grades among the. blends and alloys. Code : 1M- Impact Modifiers TPE - Thermplastic Elastomers ADDITIVE MASTERBATCH I) UV STABILIZER MASTER BATCH: E UV is a UV Stabilizer Masterbatch having 10% by weight of Hindered amine light Stabilizers (HALS). The carrier for masterbatch Polypropylene, HDPE as well as LDPE. is LLDPE which is a compatible with Loading: 0.5 to 2% II) PROCESSING AIDS MASTERBATCH: Processing aids are added to plastic to improve the extrusion rates of Polymers and to depress teh viscosity. Generally Fatty Acid Estars, Ethoxlylated Fatty Acid and Waxes are used as a processing aids. III) SLIP, ANTI BLOCK MASTERBA TCH: Especially these materbatches are added to plastic to solve the counter problems of blocking during the production of Polyethylene Film and also improve the flow properties and openability in LDPE & LLDPE Film. It can be used with advantage in extrusion oftapes & Box Strappings. Padmanabh offers a masterbatch which is a unique blend of Antiblock and Slip agents uniformely disperesed in LLDPE Carrier. The main use of these masterbatch is in the blown film of Polyolefins. IV) ANTISTATIC MASTERBATCH: Antistatics are the additives used in plastics to prevent the buildup of Excess Electric Charge which isformed during Processing, Transportation & Handling. Generally, Antistatic Agents are used in ABS, Acrylic, Nylons, PC, Pet Films, Pp,PVC, PE & Other Polymers. Padmanabh offers a antistatic masterbatch mainly for Polyolefins. V) FLAME RETARDANT MASTERBATCH: The flame retardant are either inorganic or organic. The inorganic additives are generally Chlorine, Bromine, Phosphorus, Antimony Trioxide or Aluminium Hydroxide, the Organic Additive and Halogenated Hydrocarbons and its Derivatives. Padmanabh can offer a Flame Retardant Masterbatch for different Polymers. VI) GLASS FILLED POLYMERS: Glass Fibers can be easily compounded upto 20-40% with Polypropylene, PBT, ABS, SAN, and Nylons. By making a Glass filled compound one can get material with very Good stiffness, High Heat Temperature Resistance properties. Padmanabh offers a such type of Glass Filled Compound for Unique Application. Padmanabh BePolymers Alloys Ltd. Regd. Office & Works: N. H. No.-8, AT & Post - Palsana, Dist. Sural..
