3 SF-1 Self-Lubricating Bushings SF-1 Self-Lubricating bushing: Its known as DU bushing abroad, use low carbon steel as backing, sintered bronze as it s interlayer and PTFE material as it s antiwear surface. It May be used where no oil can be applied or oil is difficult to be applied. have advantage of low wear, low friction and with long lifetime. Load will spread over a wider area due to the bearing material s elastic nature. Layer 1: PTFE with Lead (Pb) Layer 2: Porous sintered bronze Layer 3: Steel Backing Layer 4: Tin Plating or Copper Plating Low stick slip properties ensuring accuracy of machine operation under low sliding speeds. Low vibration, low noise and non-pollution in operation of working. PTFE and lead film is transferred to the mating shaft to improve running properties. It can be used in low hardness of mating shaft, so the shafts processing is more easy to do. The Machine will be compact because of the thin thickness and low weight of bushing. Note: Various backing materials are suitable for SF-1 (DU) series products according to different working conditions, such as bronze backing (SF-1B), Stainless Steel backing (SF-1S) and Lead-Free material. Electric plating is possible to prevent rusted and corrosion. it s widely used in various sliding motions of different kind of machines such as textile machine, tobacco machines, hydraulic vehicles automobiles, agriculture machine and so on. 2

O.D Wall Thickness Bushing Length and Part Number (L:0/-0.40) * Unit: mm * Shaft Dia. f7 * Housing H7 The Installation of Bushing: Bushing should be cleaned in kerosene or diesel oil first, immersed in engine oil and then dried up. when the bush is installed into housing, make sure the bush not rotating in the housing or moving in the axial direction and at the same time make the outer surface surface fully contact to the base hole, generally guarantee the contact area over 70%, thus to improve load capacity and transmission of friction heat. The inner surface of bushing is made of self-lubricating PTFE, the outer surface steel backing, the friction coefficient of steel to steel is bigger than steel to plastic, so we should choose the light graded tight fit, prevent the axle sleeve from moving the base when working, and also preventing the inner holes from getting deformed and too big because of the large tight fit of the outer diameter. Note: Bearing Size besides above mentioned sizes, can be customized and produced according to customer s detailed dimensions (drawing or samples). 6

10 SF-2 Marginal Lubrication Bearings SF-2 Marginal Lubrication Bushing: Layer 1: POM with Lead (Pb) Layer 2: Porous sintered bronze Layer 3: Steel Backing Layer 4: Copper Plating SF-2 is triple-layer self lubricating material that can fill modified POM plastic as surface layer. it s benignant boundary lubrication material, therefore it is particularly applicable high load low-speed rotating and wing movement, as well as in the condition that frequent loaded start-stop is the requirement while hydrodynamic lubrication membrane is difficult to form, in the parts such as bearing, thrust washer, sliding block, ball socket and so on. SF-2 can take full advantage of less grease to work long time without lubrication maintenance under boundary lubrication condition. But under oil-free condition, SF-2 the frictional behavior and permissible PV value is relatively low. So general storage pit can be formed on the plastic surface, where lithium based lubricant grease or silicone grease and so on should be applied when being installed. 17 Engineering Plastic Polymer Plain Bearings Engineering Plastic Polymer Plain Bearings: EP-G series material is a thermal mould character plastic processed by crystal engineering plastic as basic material with proper intensifier and lubricant. The rigidity and high temperature engineer capability is greatly improved. Because of the use of intensifier, at the same time, the coefficient of thermal expansion, moulding shrinking rate and wriggle capability decreases consequently. The size stability is improved and EP series material range is enlarged and keeps the intrinsic antiwear capability and anti-drug capability. Base Polymers with fibers and solid Lubricants. *Magnified 200 times, dyed EP bearing cover an extremely wide range of different requirements. Typical applications include medium to high loads, medium sliding speeds and medium temperatures. 26 Sintered Bronze Bushing Sintered Bronze Bearings: Sintered Bronze bushing made by bronze powder mold pressed under high pressure and then sintered under high temperature. and oil is soaked into the homogeneously spread tiny pores of the metal under vacuum. Sintered bronze bushing can withstand dry condition in medium speed and low load for sometime. More over it is cheap and stable in dimension. 29 Lining Sprayed Stainless Steel Bushing Lining Sprayed Stainless Steel Bushing with plastic PTFE coated is based on stainless steel and spray painted PTFE on inside surface. It s anti-acid, anti-alkali, anti-salt liquid and can be widely used in chemical industry such as acid/alkali flow indicator, pumps, valves etc and also in the sliding position where anti-corrosion is necessary in sea industry. FB090 Wrapped Bronze Bushing FB090 bronze wrapped bushing adopts special formula and high density copper alloy strip as base, whose surface is rolling by diamond oil cave or oil groove. Characterized by high density, high pressure of bushing. It is widely used in lifting machine, auto and tractor industry, machine tool industry and mining machinery. Bi-Metal Bushing Bi-metal bushing is wrapped by double layer metal strip. Strip based on steel backing and incorporated with bronze surface. The bronze layer is sintered twice under high temperature and firmly onto the steel strip.
