They hd previously been mounting 6 swithes on bulkhed nd individully wiring eh swith bk to n Exe enlosure vi rmoured ble nd ertified ble glnds. Our solution, whih n be seen bove, ws to supply stinless steel EExe juntion box fitted with 6 x Exd pressure swithes. We inorported mnifold vlves nd supplied omplete wired ssembly. This ws bolted to bulkhed nd the proess onnetions tthed. The onept sved them onsiderble time s the pressure swithes did not require to be individully mounted nd wired. In ddition, single order ws pled, when normlly seprte orders for swithes, juntion boxes nd mnifold vlves would hve been required. There is lso n industril version enbling one rnge of swithes to be used for ll pplitions. Pyropress re offering swith, trnsmitter nd juntion box ssemblies suited for hzrdous re nd industril pplitions. They re ustom designed nd re delivered fully ssembled nd wired. We n lso inorporte guges nd mnifold vlves nd dditionl terminls for other instrumenttion. The Argus rnge is vilble with non orrosive robust PPS (engineering polymer) se or 316 stinless steel, both being ertified to IP67 stndrds of protetion. The n be used for high nd low mbient temperture between -50 nd +128 C. 8 ARGUS ATEX Exd, Exi & INDUSTRIAL SWITCHES INTRODUCTION The Argus pressure, differentil pressure, temperture, level nd flow swithes re designed for use in environments where explosive gses nd extremes of both high nd low mbient temperture n be present (e.g. Gs fields, Oil rigs nd Chemil plnts et.) They hve been ATEX ertified for CAT 1 CE Ex II1G Exi IIC T6,T5 & T4 nd CAT 2 CE Ex II2G Exd IIC T6,T5 & T4. These swithes re mnuftured from either PPS (engineering polymer) or high qulity investment st 316 stinless steel both offer robust onstrution nd protetion to IP67 for use within hevily polluted industril nd mrine environments. These instruments n be djusted with the power on nd the swith in opertion. Delrtion vilble for SIL2 - IEC61508 proven relibility. CALIRATION The design fetures simple form of librtion djustment ginst sle blok.this llows users to either order units with speifi setting, or stok mid rnge setting nd then djust to suit the pplition. This n be set sfely with the swith supply live. On removl of the djustment over the djusting srew n be turned with the smll Tommy br supplied. The setting is red from the entre of the red inditing ring ginst the internl sle plte. Rottion to the left will inrese the set point nd to the right derese the set point. The djustment mehnism inorportes frition devie to ensure set point will not hnge under vibrtion onditions. Eletril Connetion: Exd 1 metre of 3 or 6 ore 0.75mm2 silion insulted flying led vi stinless steel ½ NPT or M20 x 1.5 ISO mle threded onduit glnd (prt no ode R & S) or 1 metre of 6.0mm di 3 ore x 0.75mm 2 silion insulted ble (prt no ode A). Longer led lengths n be speified nd rnge of Exe ertified juntion boxes n be supplied fitted nd wired diret to the swith. The stndrd Exe box hs n mbient temperture rnge of 40 to +55 C. Higher temperture n be tered for. Exi - 1 metre of 6.0mm di 3 ore x 0.75mm 2 silione insulted ble vi stinless steel ½ NPT or M20 x 1.5 ISO mle threded onduit glnd (prt no ode R & S) or supplied with no thred (prt no ode A).
