1 CEMENT FLOAT SHOE Product Code:- MI 2102 Float shoe have a back-pressure valve that prevents fluids from entering the casing while the pipe is lowered into hole and prevents cement from flowing back into the casing after placement, while enabling circulation down through casing. It can also be used to provide landing point for cementing plugs if required. Hold back flow pressure of cement. Operator-controlled buoyancy-regulated by filling casing at surface. Bottom round nose of the shoe helps for easy entry of the string into the hole. They are mostly run with float collars and must perform the primary function of guiding the casing to total depth while also serving as the primary valve when the cementation displacement is completed. MI 2102 CEMENT FLOAT COLLAR Product Code:- MI 2103 Float Collars have back pressure valve that prevents the back flow of fluid. They are placed one to three joint above guide shoe or float shoe. They provide a seat for cementing plugs, (bottom plug pumped ahead of cement and top plug behind the full volume of slurry). Once seated the top plug, shuts off fluid flow and prevents over-displacement of cement. The space between Float Shoe & Float Collar provide a containment area to entrap likely contaminated fluids from wiping action of top cementing plug, securing the contaminated fluid away from Float Shoe where a strong cement bond is of primary importance. Mackeral Non-rotating Float shoe attaches to the end of the casing string and they are use to stop slurry from flowing back. Float Shoe serves as the backbone of casing equipment used during primary cementing operations. It guides the casing to total depth and prevents contaminated mud from entering the casing. Also it provides a landing point for casing wiper plugs, reinforces the lower end of the casing string, and ensures greater accuracy of cement slurry displacement. Nonrotating insert helps to engage the connecting plugs in it and locks the rotation when PDC drill bit is used. PDC Drillable. Inverted Poppet valve has greater strength. 3 DOUBLE VALVE FLOAT SHOE WITH DOWN-JET PORTS Product Code:- MI 2124 This design ensures positive sealing in vertical, deviated & horizontal well. They have a back-pressure valve that prevents fluids from entering the casing while the pipe is lowered into hole and prevents cement from flowing back into the casing after displacement, while enabling circulation down through casing. Double Valve helps maximum protection against back flow of cement. There are three down-jet ports located below float valve in side of the float shoe shell to help to increase cement bonding strength due to swirl effect by cementing. Sometimes, it provides landing point for cementing plugs when Collar is not used. It is available with Down-jet, Up-jet & Side-jet ports as well. Down-jet ports increase bonding strength of cement. 4 TUBING FLOAT SHOE (ALUMINIUM PLUNGER) Product Code:- MI 2201 Tubing Float shoe have a back-pressure Poppet valve that prevents fluids from entering the casing while the pipe is lowered into hole and prevents cement from flowing back into the casing after displacement, while enabling circulation down through casing. This Float Shoe has ability to resist high impact due to use of aluminum insert material in construction. Temperature rating of Float Shoe exceeds III C Category due to design of material. Sometimes, it provides landing point for cementing plugs when Collar is not used. Easy PDC drillable. They exceed API RP 10F Category III flow endurance & pressure test requirement. It can be furnished with Single as well as Double Poppet Valve. Available in 2-7/8" 4-½" sizes. 5 REAMER SHOE Product Code:- MI 2301 Reamer Shoe has eccentric guide nose which helps to overcome obstructions such as mud cake, swelling shale or sand bridges and washed out areas in the wellbore and guides the casing or liners to total depth. It is designed with blade cutting structure and diamond shaped faces which ensure safe passage of casing and liners thus facilitating rotating and reciprocating applications. Compatible with all casing and liner hanger assemblies, our Reamer Shoe provides highly effective protection- against unexpected or anticipated casing and liner running problems. Design for problematic wells where reciprocation and/or rotation of the casing is anticipated to ream the hole and land the casing to total depth. Standard features include aluminum eccentric nose with integral down jets, and side ports. Blade are coated with tungsten carbide cutting structure and height customized for hole size. AUTO-FILL FLOAT COLLAR Product Code:- MI 2403 Mackeral Auto fill float collar permits the casing to fill automatically while being run into the hole. The valve is always in open position, allowing maximum filling of the casing as it running in the well bore. This is especially effective on liner job and sensitive hole conditions. Casing can be automatically filled up during running-in Casing can be circulated at any time at low rates, without having to convert the valve from the fill-up to the back-pressure mode. 6 DIFFERENTIAL FILL-UP FLOAT SHOE Product Code:- MI 2502 Differential fill-up Float Shoe allows 90% casing fill-up during run-in, reducing surge pressures caused by the piston effect of running in restricted I.D. Use of differential shoe provides additional buoyancy by allowing only 81% casing fill-up further enhancing works efficiency. Circulating can be established at any time while running in. Dropping a ball converts the differential valve to a regular back-pressure valve. When collar and shoe are run together, dropping one ball converts both units. After allowing sufficient time for ball to reach the equipment conversion can be achieve by applying approximately psi of pump pressure (adjustable). 90% casing fill-up during run in. Stab in float shoe resists high temperature, good sealing and drill ability, convenient connection. This kind of shoe is used for inner string cementing operations. PDC drillable. MI 2120 STAB-IN STINGER Product Code:- MI 2602 The MACKERAL Stab-in Stinger is used for cementing large diameter casings lowered on drill pipe. The string presents special cementing consideration due to high displacement volume of large diameter casing. Problem with high displacement are overcome by using Stab in Cementing Equipment to allow cementing through drill pipe. Small diameter inner string off drill pipe is used to displace cement which minimizes displacement volume behind cement and there by reduces contamination and save time. Drill out of cement inside large casing is minimized by controlling cement top with displacement fluid in drill pipe and Poppet valve in Stab in Shoe. The string presents special cementing consideration due to high displacement volume of large diameter casing. Problem with high displacement are overcome by using Stab in Cementing Equipment to allow cementing through drill pipe. Small diameter inner string off drill pipe is used to displace cement which minimizes displacement volume behind cement and there by reduces contamination and save time. Drill out of cement inside large casing is minimized by controlling cement top with displacement fluid in drill pipe and Poppet valve in Stab in Shoe. MI 2608 CEMENT GUIDE SHOE Product Code:- MI 2601 Guide shoe runs on the first joint of casing into the hole to help in smooth run in. Guide Shoe has no back-pressure valve. It has an open end to enable fluid circulation for mud conditioning, cement placement and hole cleaning. It also provide landing point to Cementing Plugs.
