3 About Nexans Nexans brings energy to life through an extensive range of cables and cabling solutions that deliver increased performance for our customers worldwide. Nexans teams are committed to a partnership approach that supports customers in four main business areas: Power transmission and distribution (submarine and land), Energy resources (Oil & Gas, Mining and Renewables), Transportation (Road, Rail, Air, Sea) and Building (Commercial, Residential and Data Centers). Nexans strategy is founded on continuous innovation in products, solutions and services, employee development, customer training and the introduction of safe, low environmental impact industrial processes. In 2013, Nexans became the first cable player to create a Foundation to introduce sustained initiatives for access to energy for disadvantaged communities worldwide. We have an industrial presence in 40 countries and commercial activities worldwide, employing close to 26,000 people and generating sales in 2015 of 6.2 billion euros. Nexans is listed on Euronext Paris, compartment A. Generated 4/25/18 Page 3 / 69

4 LV and MV voltage rubber cables Low-voltage cables Cables in the Wind Industry, especially for wind turbines and for loop installation on the top of the tower are facing severe torsion constraints due to the rotation of the nacelle. Due to the minimum 20 years life time of wind turbines, Nexans brings an appropriate answer to all O.E.M requirements and specifications. Torsion tests simulate a 20 year life time in a turbine. To meet this requirement, cables have to comply with a complete test which depends on customers specification. Nexans has developed low voltage loop cables (up to 1kV) that reliably transmit energy produced in the generator to the transformer, usually located at the base of the tower. They come in Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) versions, and are also oil, abrasion, UV and ozone resistant. Medium-voltage cables Nexans can provide flexible medium-voltage loop cables, which are light and compact rubber types for all types of turbines (2.5 to 6 MW). These 1, 3, or 4 core cables are able to withstand the torsion due to rotation of the nacelle (usually three full twists in either direction). They can be used down to 40 C. In addition, they are resistant to all common types of mineral oils and cooling liquids. Covered voltage levels are1 kv to 35 kv, but also higher voltages are available on request. For fixed installation, e.g. the connection of loop cable and bottom of the tower, rubber or XLPE insulated cables are offered, either halogenated or halogen free. Generated 4/25/18 Page 4 / 69

5 Kits DESCRIPTION In the ever growing wind market most key O.E.M. players are now sub contracting the cutting and connecting of cables to be installed in their wind turbines, either in the nacelle or the tower. On top of that, deliveries of these customised sets & kits are now going through tower manufacturers acting at national level and therefore making the delivery process more complex. In order to response these customers' expectations, Nexans is offering customised solutions with a wide variety of cables sets (pre cut cables) for energy, control or fibre optic cables and dedicated kits (pre cut cables with connectors) allowing easy assembly and installation, time saving, low failure rate, and exceptional durability.
