These Bakelite sheets Of Grade P2 have good Mechanical Properties and better Electrical Properties, than Grade P1 and are especially suitable for High voltage applications at power frequencies for Power Electrical Industry. P2 Grade Bakelite Sheets also posses high electric strength under oil and good electric strength in air under normal humid conditions. Low water absorption. Suitable for high-tension electrical application even under tropical conditions. P3 Grade Bakelite sheets can also be manufactured with additional layers of Melamine overlay surface at both the sides of the sheet which will provide excellent resistance to surface tracking and dry arcing.
