Testing Method Fenner Precision owns a well-equipped on-site testing laboratory, which includes a Tensometer equipped with an environmental chamber. DOE (Design of Experiments) was carried out on FenForm TM and a competitor s equivalent product. The factors investigated were: Temperature Extension Number of cycles 7

DOE Analysis: Elongation at Break 10

DOE Analysis: Modulus at 300% 11

Cycles to Failure Material samples were cycled under controlled conditions until failure. Sample Temperature 0C Extension % Sample Thickness (mm) FenForm TM Average Number of Cycles to Break Competitor s Material When FenForm TM was cycled at extreme conditions (to give a manageable testing time), it lasted an average of 25% longer than the competitor s product. 12

Summary of Results FenForm s TM Tensile Strength is higher than the competition s. The difference is maintained as the temperature and cycles are increased. The difference between the Elongation at Break of FenForm TM and the competitor s material decreases at higher temperatures. The Modulus figure at a given elongation is higher for FenForm TM than the competitor s material. The figure is more consistent as the temperature and cycles are increased. FenForm TM gives 25% more cycles than the competition when tested at the same temperature and with the same elongation conditions. FenForm TM is a stronger material that gives a more consistent performance at operating temperature from first cycle to last. 13

When quality is paramount, FenForm TM is the most reliable choice 14
