There is no concern with chip management or coolant lubricity, and stable threading is possible. In this example, we were able to improve the yield rate of small diameter internal threads in a high value workpiece. More durability improvements and cost reductions can be expected by adjusting the feed rate and number of passes and changing the cutting fluid.
