3 ALL STEEL - FERRITE BALANCED ALLOY FOR ALL STEELS GIVING SUPER STRENGTH SPECIAL BENEFITS ALL STEEL Ferrite Balanced Super-Strength Non- Cracking Alloy for All Steels ideal for maintenance welding. welds any dissimilar steel combinations. ALL STEEL is ideal for all-position repairs of worn parts is ideal as an underlay for hardfacing. ALL STEEL provides special "Ionized Arc Transfer" that drastically reduces spatter and electrode overheating, especially on small AC machines. ALL STEEL gives an exceptional high deposit efficiency. ALL STEEL is coated with a special flux formulation that eliminates slag interference in horizontal fillets. OUTSTANDING PROPERTIES The engineered deposit chemistry that has the perfect composition to offer a far superior crack resistance. Special flux formulation eliminates slag interference in horizontal fillets. Slag is designed to turn to powder making this electrode ideal for "STUD PULL" applications. APPLICATIONS ALL STEEL ( for AC & DC ) provides welds of excellent quality on the following metals: Spring Steel Stainless Steel Sulphur-Bearing Steel Galvanized Steel Tool and Die Steel High-Carbon Steel Shock-Resisting Steel Vanadium Spring Steel Manganese Steel Cast Steel MF P

4 ALL STEEL The ultimate electrode for welding all types of steels, without any danger of cracking or breakage. Special "FERRITE BALANCED" Chemistry also serves as a "STUD PULL" electrode ALL STEEL is the superior alloy for all steels that: Provides excellent corrosion resistance. No undercutting, overlapping or piling up. Provides a smooth, regular well-formed bead. Uniform in cross-section. INTERNATIONAL SPECIFICATIONS AWS/ASME A 5.4:E31-17 DIN 8556: E 9.9 R 3 NFA : EZ 9.9 R 3EN 1600: E 9.9 R 3 ISO 3581: E 9.9 R 3 RECOMMENDED FOR: Due to exceptional strength and crack resistance, it is ideal for repairing tools, dies, spring steel and any dissimilar metal combinations, except for aluminum and copper alloys. It is also recommended for repairing worn parts and as an underlay for hardfacing. MICROSTRUCTURE: A duplex austenite/delta ferrite structure with a Shaeffler ferrite value below 35%.
