21 FAQ s Q: Does the product fully cure at ambient temperatures, or does it require exposure to heat? A: Yes, the catalyst cures the product at ambient conditions. There are organic components in the product that will disappear when the product is heated above 200 C, meaning that the hardness of the product will increase once it has been exposed to high temperatures. Q: Is the C5M approval with or without zinc underneath? A: Both Q: What lifetime can we expect from Jotatemp 1000 Ceramic at ambient C5M conditions? A: Other coating solutions should be explored if the structure will spend most of its time below 250 C. However, for construction phase, a three year period before heating is considered acceptable.
