Our equipment is often manufactured for new installations, but we are also well experienced in the fabrication of replacement components. For the special equipment that we usually fabricate, we will only use the best available materials. To have access to those materials we have teamed up with the best possible suppliers.

Materials that we regularly process are carbon steels, low alloy steels, stainless steels, clad steels, nickel alloys, copper alloys, zirconium, titanium etc.

3 Verolme 800H Modified Materials Our own material developed to prevent the occurrence of Stress Relaxation Cracking, which may occur in equipment operating in high temperature environments ( C or F). Development took place in close collaboration with research institutes as well as end customers. The Verolme 800H Modified philosophy not only constitutes of additional material restrictions, but also comprises additional requirements for handling, welding, heat treatment, etc. Until today we have fabricated over metric tons of Verolme 800H Modified equipment to the full satisfaction of the end customers. For the special equipment that we usually fabricate, we will only use the best available materials. To have access to those materials we have teamed up with the best possible suppliers. Our procurement strategy is based on knowhow, quality, reliability and competitiveness. Materials that we regularly process are carbon steels, low alloy steels, stainless steels, clad steels, nickel alloys, copper alloys, zirconium, titanium etc. Welding Engineering Verolme Special Equipment has invested in the most advanced welding equipment and welding techniques known in the industry. We comply with the highest welding-standards to ensure the quality of our equipment. Our high tech welding equipment is capable of welding thicknesses upto 250 mm. Various welding techniques for the fabrication of high-end pressure equipment are in house: ESW (electro slag welding), FCAW (flux cored arc welding), HWGTAW (hot wire TIG welding), etc. For the fabrication of heat exchangers we have got high tech orbital welding equipment. One of our most valuable assets is our engineering department. Our team of skilled engineers contributes to the development of process equipment and provides valuable insight, know-how, and advice to our customers. We have extended experience with the use of exotic materials and manufacturing equipment in the high temperature, high pressure, and corrosion range. High pressure column 2002 Verolme Apparatenbouw is relaunched by Mr. Van den Berg, Managing Director of the company as Verolme Special Equipment (VSE) In addition to the oil & gas industry and (petro) chemical industry, VSE starts to focus on manufacturing high-end equipment for the polysilicon industry. Usually our products are used for purposes at high pressure, high temperatures and in highly aggressive/corrosive environments. We continuously focus on innovation and quality. And therefore, amongst others, we cooperate with various strategic material suppliers. Besides that, Verolme Special Equipment can quickly respond in emergency situations and we are able to fabricate equipment at short delivery times VSE receives a large order, totaling EUR 40m from a US customer in the polysilicon industry Mr. Van den Berg acquires VSE, making him 100% shareholder of the company In april 2009 the company moves to its new facilities in Moerdijk Change in ownership and Management Board.

5 GLOBAL SOURCING AND SUPPLY We are perfectly situated to supply our process equipment in any size, weight, and material! Through our strategic location at the Port of Moerdijk (suitable for seagoing vessels), only a doorstep away from the Port of Rotterdam, we have unlimited capabilities to transport equipment to our clients.

Facilities Verolme Special Equipment is ideally located inside m 2 of industrial space in Moerdijk (The Netherlands). The total facilities occupy m 2. We have 180MT of lifting capabilities to a height of 13 meters. There is a m 2 clean room for the production of white materials such as titanium, stainless steel, and nickel alloys.
