1 Statement on "SVHC" and Annex XIV, REACH page 1 of 8 It is our intention to assist our customers to meet the information obligations set by Article 33 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH). These obligations apply to suppliers of articles that contain above 0.1 % weight by weight of a substance which is on the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern for Authorization (SVHC). For information purpose, the current SVHC substances are listed in the appendix 1 to this statement. You will find the link to the current version of the Candidate List in appendix 1. Please consult the chapter "Composition" in the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) issued for member states of the European Union (EU) or the European Free Trade Association (EFTA). Each individual SVHC will be displayed in chapter 3 when present in a concentration at or above 0.1 % weight by weight. Newly issued SDS will identify SVHC candidate substances in chapter 15 additionally. In case a substance, which has been added newly to the Candidate List, is not already declared due to other reasons in the chapter 3 "Composition" in the EU or EFTA Member State Safety Data Sheets, then this chapter will be updated on the condition that the particular substance is present in our product in a concentration at or above 0.1 % weight by weight.*) In such an event, every customer in the EU and EFTA will receive the updated EU or EFTA Member State Safety Data Sheet on our own accord, provided that he has been supplied by us with the product concerned within the past 12 months. You may download the most recent European Union or EFTA Member State Safety Data Sheets of interest by following the link given below: SVHC, which have already been included in Annex XIV of the REACH Regulation (Authorization List) are listed in the appendix 2 of this statement. You will find the link to the current version of the Authorization List in appendix 2 too. These substances are reported on our Safety Data Sheets above 0.1 % weight by weight similar to candidate substances in chapter 3 "Composition". *) Please note that some products with the trade names DESMODERM, DESMOPAN, TEXIN and UTECHLLAN contain an UV stabilizer listed on the latest extension of the SVHC candidate list (CAS number ) as published on 17 December This UV stabilizer is mostly not mentioned on the SDS of these products today and you will receive an updated SDS soon.
