4 02 series Carat Flex Carat Flex is a stearate coated abrasive product for dry sanding applications. Silicon carbide grain provides a sharp cut with a uniform scratch pattern. Carat Flex has been developed especially for hand sanding of wood, sealers, paint and lacquers. The backing is a flexible, latex impregnated paper which is ideal for profile sanding. Grain adherence is extremely good due to resin bonding. A special stearate coating is used to maximize resistance to clogging and loading. 8 18 series Non-Woven s Mirlon nonwoven abrasives are three-dimensional media made with cut fiber strands, coated with resin and abrasive. For applications in fine finishing and surface preparation. For use in both the automotive and industrial workplace. A very flexible product ideal for use on contoured surfaces. Mirlon Total is extremely aggressive, although it is thinner, more open and flexible than the standard Mirlon product.
