3 Who we are Joint venture between Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma aden) & Alcoa. Once completed, US$10.8b project will be largest / most efficient integrated aluminium complex in the world. Facilities: bauxite mine at Al Ba itha, connected by rail to alumina refinery, aluminium smelter & rolling mill at Ras Al Khair.

5 Joint venture partners Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma aden). Formed by Royal decree in 1997 to contribute to building the 3 rd Pillar of the Saudi economy by facilitating development of KSA s mineral resources. Initially Ma'aden's activities focused on expanding its gold business. Activities now include Ma'aden Phosphate Company (2011) & Ma aden Aluminium (2012).

9 Products Alumina Alumina refinery will process bauxite ore mined at Al Ba itha into aluminum oxide, a white powder called alumina Alumina then transformed into aluminum metal in smelting process.

10 Products Ingots, slabs and T-bars Ingots cast at MA integrated facility at Ras Al Khair Shipped directly to customers for use in wide range of products.

11 Products Can sheet Rolling mill will produce to customer specifications recyclable can sheet, which keep food and drinks fresh and secure inside.

12 Products Automotive: automotive rolling mill will provide products specifically designed to create lighter, stronger and safer vehicles. Aluminium coil: rolling mill will have capacity to produce coil for construction industry & development of sustainable, energy efficient buildings.

Public/Private partnerships to grow recycling capacity and capability. Current collected UBC in GCC estimated at 140 KMT/year growing at 5% p.a.
