If the re-inspection result is inconsistent with the provisions of this Standard and the order (or contract), the demand party shall notify the supply party in paper form, to settle this issue through negotiation between the supply and demand parties. The objection about surface quality and dimensional deviation shall be raised within 1 month after receiving the products; other objection about quality shall be raised within 3 months after receiving the products. If arbitration is required, arbitration sampling will be conducted at the demand party s jointly by the supply and demand parties. 5.2 Batching The strips shall be submitted for acceptance in batches, AND each batch shall be composed of the same designation, state and specification. The weight of each batch shall generally be not more than kg (if the batch is from same melting, then the batch weight may be not more than kg). 5.3 Inspection items Each batch of strips shall be subject to the inspection of chemical composition, dimension and allowable deviation and surface quality Each batch of strips shall be subject to the inspection of mechanical properties (tensile test or hardness test). Select either tensile test or hardness test, if not specified in the contract, select the tensile test. When the tensile test is selected, the hardness test shall be carried out when it is required by the demand party and specified in the contract, and the hardness test results are for reference only. When the hardness test is selected, the tensile test shall be carried out when it is required by the demand party and specified in the contract, and the tensile test results are for reference only If required by the demand party and specified in the contract, the inspection of bend test, electrical properties and grain size shall also be carried out. 5.4 Sampling Page 16 of 18
