Skin, Inhalation, Eyes Potential Health Effects Inhalation: Skin contact: Eye contact: Ingestion: Existing conditions aggravated by exposure: This product is irritating to the respiratory system. Prolonged and/or repeated skin contact with this product may cause irritation/dermatitis. This product may cause irritation to the eyes. Rubbing may cause abrasion of cornea. Vapors may also produce eye irritation. Ingestion of this product is unlikely. However, ingestion of product may produce gastrointestinal irritation and disturbances. Eye, skin and respiratory disorders. See Section 11 for additional toxicological information. 3. COMPOSITION / INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS Hazardous components CAS NUMBER % Calcium carbonate Dimethoxymethylsilyl Propyl Derivate Silyl-Terminated Polyether Diisononyl phthalate Castor oil, hydrogenated Carbon black FIRST AID MEASURES Inhalation: Move to fresh air in case of accidental inhalation of vapours or decomposition products. If symptoms develop and persist, get medical attention. Page 1 of 5

2 Skin contact: Wipe off paste with paper towel or cloth. Wash with soap and water. If irritation persists, repeat flushing and get medical attention. Discard any shoes or clothing items that cannot be decontaminated. Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. If adverse health effects develop seek medical attention. Ingestion: Notes to physician: Do not induce vomiting. In case of adverse health effects seek medical advice. Treat symptomatically and supportively. 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Flash point: Autoignition temperature: Flammable/Explosive limits - lower: Flammable/Explosive limits - upper: Extinguishing media: Special firefighting procedures: Unusual fire or explosion hazards: Hazardous combustion products: Sensitivity to Mechanical Impact: Sensitivity to static discharge: Foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide. Prevent inhalation of fumes and gases. This product is combustible at high temperatures. Oxides of silicon. Oxides of carbon. Formaldehyde. Irritating and/or toxic fumes and gases may be emitted upon the product's decomposition. 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Use personal protection recommended in Section 8, isolate the hazard area and deny entry to unnecessary and unprotected personnel. Environmental precautions: Clean-up methods: Do not allow product to enter sewer or waterways. Scrape up as much material as possible. Maintain good ventilation for large spills. 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE Handling: Storage: Do not handle contact lenses until all sealant has been removed from hands. Residual sealant may transfer to lenses and cause eye irritation. Prevent contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not breathe vapor and mist. Wash thoroughly after handling. For safe storage, store between 15.0 C (59 F) and 25.0 C (77 F) Protect from freezing. Keep container tightly closed and in a cool, wellventilated place away from incompatible materials. Do not pressurize, cut, heat or weld containers. Empty product containers may contain product residue. Do not reuse empty containers. For information on product shelf life contact Henkel Canada Customer Service at EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION Employers should complete an assessment of all workplaces to determine the need for, and selection of, proper exposure controls and protective equipment for each task performed.
