3 Information about material PP-RCT Because of new production technology of this granulate, new material crystal structure allows the pipes to withstand of higher pressures and higher water temperatures. PP-RCT raw material from Borealis is called also as Beta-PPR. PPR PP-RCT PP-R crystallizes in the monoclinic form (α-structure) Beta-PPR crystallizes predominantely in the hexagonal form (β-structure)

16 Welding process Welding process is the same as for one-layer pipes made from PP-R. Rules for welding are shown in the Technical manual or in technical standard DVS 2207 Pipes don`t require special manipulations contrary to STABI pipes
