3 STANDARDS FOR PARTICULATE MATTER (DUST) MEASUREMENT Particulate matter monitoring (Dust) Automated Measuring System (AMS) is a measuring system permanently installed on site for continuous monitoring of dust emissions. Standard Reference Method (SRM) is a method described and standardised to define an air quality characteristic, temporally installed on site for verification purposes. For the purpose of EN :2004, the SRM for particulate matter (total dust) is specified in: low levels < 50 mg/m 3 EN :2001 high levels > 50 mg/m 3 ISO 9096:2003 ( mg/m 3 ) Slide: 3
