Introduction There has been a need to introduce new QUALITY PRODUCTS in the construction & Cold Storage industry in the region for many years. EIP was set up at Dubai Investment Park in the UAE to address this market deficiency. EIP offers a new state of the art manufacturing facility incorporating a fully automated continuous production line where quality pre-insulated panel products are manufactured. Quality wall, roof and cold store panels are produced to the highest international standards with a short delivery time offering variations in surface profiles and colors to suite a ray of applications. With the higher constraints on the construction industry by new EHS regulations, EIP offers a range of different fire resistant and environment friendly foam materials that meets and exceeds local regulatory requirements. Such foam materials include PUR B3, PUR B2 and PIR. To meet the challenges presented by our customers, EIP has developed an extensive in house quality policy and procedures which is regularly reviewed to meet the different challenges presented by the market. These procedures are enforced by well trained and experienced staff armed with a range of specialized tools and a fully equipped laboratory. 2

Production Technology EIP production line is a state of the art continuous production facility from Germany with a production capacity of over 4.0 million square meters per annum of metal/ metal faced panels. The production capacity coupled with the high level of technology offers the largest square meter production capability of quality panels in the region. The production line is composed of multiple stations working completely automatically and controlled by a complex electric control system using industrial PLC s having interface operator panels. The production system consists of a profiling section, a foam application station, a special cut to length system and an automatic stacking and packaging unit. EIP production technology is fully automated and does not require any operator handling in any part of the production process. The plant operates using environment friendly pentane as the blowing agent thus meeting the highest international regulations and standards. 3

Products With its modern continuous lamination double belt production technology, EIP produces metal / metal insulated panels to the highest international standards. The factory is a first in the region for high fire rated foam with faces of coated metal substrates having different surface finish and colors to suite client requirements. Contracting EIP supplies quality panels and accessories to the building industry, however, when called upon, EIP can offer installation service using well trained and experienced staff. Materials employed are of the highest standard to ensure the delivered product is inline with the intended use. EIP quality policy allows the use of different installation accessories to suite the application. Corrosion resistant accessories are used to seal the insulated structure and different configurations on angles and ceiling suspension profiles are available to meet the food hygiene requirements of projects. 16

Doors Different types of doors are offered by EIP to suite the different applications that are demanded by our clients. EIP offers:- Hinged doors Manual horizontal sliding doors Automatic horizontal sliding doors Automatic vertical sliding doors Rapid access doors Dock shelter doors Doors are supplied in various thicknesses to suite the application in standard White color RAL9002. Other color options are available. Doors incorporate internal safety release for added safety as well as door heating for low temperature applications. 18

Standard Packing No manual handling takes place at factory. Panels are automatically stacked and wrapped on the line with polyethylene shrink wrap sheet to cover the top, bottom and sides. Handling and Storage Pallet stacks are carefully loaded and strapped at factory to ensure EIP clients receive their goods in optimum condition. When receiving goods clients are advised to carefully inspect the panel stacks prior to unloading and to report damage on receipt of goods at site. Unloading at site: Extreme care is advisable when unloading the panels at the site. A forklift or a crane equipped with a spreader beam must be used to avoid pressure on the edges of the panels which can damage the joints. Storage The clear film wrap should not be removed when the panels are stored for short periods. Exposure to humidity and dust is to be avoided. In case of long storage periods it is advisable to remove the clear film wrap and to keep the panels indoors. Protective film The surface protection film should be removed straight after installation. In case of extended storage periods please contact the factory for further recommendations. 21
