A pipe fittg is defed as a part used a pipg system, to change direction or function, which is mechanically joed to the system. TYPES AND APPLICATIONS OF BUTTWELD FITTINGS A pipg system usg Buttweld fittgs has many herent advantages over other forms. Weldg a fittg to the pipe means it is permanently leakproof. The contuous metal structure formed between pipe and fittgs adds strength to the system. With the Eccentric Reducer the smaller outlet end is off centre to the larger end enablg it to le up with one side of the let and not with the other. CONCENTRIC REDUCERS L The Concentric Reducer is so manufactured that both let and outlet ends are on a coon centre le. The Concentric reducer is easier and less expensive to produce but does not allow quite the same versatility as the Eccentric Reducer.
