Roof Covering

Roof Covering (SSR) 24 coverage w/ 3 seam height Machine seamed, in-place Attached to roof secondary (purlins, widebay truss purlin or bar joist) w/ a concealed sliding clip which allows 1 5/8 thermal movement each direction, 3 1/4 total

SSR PANEL CLIPS Fixed Sliding

Center Seaming Tab in Slot (2) Fasteners Per Clip At Endlaps and Ridge End. Clip Must Be Installed Under Panel Stiffener

Note: Taller SSR clips are used with thermal block/super block. Adjustments may be desired in eave height input which is measured from top of purlins.

SSR Profile

Roof Covering (SSR) Weather-tight roof system 24 gage w/ 22 gage available upon special request 25 year Finish Warranty Galvalume KXL (Kynar 500 or Hylar 5000 ) Variety of colors to choose from Use with Blanket Insulation up to 6 thick (over purlins) or Rigid Board up to 3 1/2 thick ¼ : 12 minimum roof pitch

SSR and HWR Profile

SSR High Wind Roof The HWR roof system is primarily intended for the higher coastal wind regions, Caribbean, etc.. It is not intended to replace the SSR roof system with 90 to 110 mph +/- winds. The SSR system, with lower wind speeds, would be cheaper than the HWR. The HWR with higher winds will price out in most all cases. For wind speeds greater than 110 mph, and up to 200 mph, the HWR roof system will design w/o unpriced items. (assumes that one would select deeper depth purlins as required) Purlin spaces for the 110 to 200 mph case above ranged from 4 6 to 5 0 in the roof field and rakes, eaves lower.

SSR HWR

HWR Clips

HWR Factory Mutual (FM) ratings with 5-0 purlin spacing and 24 gage panel Florida, Miami-Dade approved UL approved expansion and contraction is the same as standard SSR as limited by the bull-nose style ridge trim Same eave and rake trims as SSR

HWR 8 is the standard clip length used at all purlins 12 clip used at corner and edge zone conditions where 8 clips not sufficient Used with ZEE purlins in depths of 8 ½, 10, and 11 ½ Purlin Channel bracing required May not be used with 7 deep purlins(due to purlin channel bracing being required) Superblock not available at this time

SSR High Wind Roof No rake subpurlins needed. (possibly with FM rated assemblies requiring reduced spaces) VPCommand will automatically populate the rake and corner zones with 12 clips as required for design. Great FM ratings with 5 purlin spaces and 24 ga. panels Florida, Miami-Dade approved. UL approved. Expansion/contraction same as SSR as limited be the bull-nose style ridge trim. Same eave and rake trims as SSR.

TLS Processing Guidelines The roof panel lengths will need adjustment at the splices. Panel lengths will need to be adjusted by the rise of the depth of the TLS System

VP Roof Factory Mutual SSR and SLR II Roof Systems are approved in various type applications and listed in the FM Approval Guide. 24 Ga SSR is available in Class 1-60, 1-75, 1-90 22 Ga SSR is available in Class 1-75, 1-90, 1-120 24 Ga SLR is available in Class 1-90, 1-120.
