Description The design of the offered cable has been a typical structure of submarine cables which is prevailing over the world and has been approved for stable performance in submarine cable system. Loose tube/hydrogen ingression protector The protector is made from stainless steel tube, which is filled with appropriate hydrogen ingression gel to protect the optic fiber inside the tube from hydrogen affection Central strength member Stainless steel tubes and fillers are stranded over the central strength member Inner sheath The cable core is protected by a PE sheath for mechanical protection Armoring Double layers of steel wires are stranded over the inner sheath to supply the tensile strength. Interstice between armor layers is filled with asphalt or bitumen Outer serving Two layers of PP-yarn are stranded over the armor wires to protect the cable from mechanical abrasion during handling, transportation and cable deploying, and the corrosion induced by hydrogen in the seawater Cable mark For clear identification during installation, yellow yarns are inserted in the yarn layer. Length marking is carried out in line with the requirements of customer at 500m intervals with a suitable tape 1/5 Rev:31. marts 2014

Packing 90mm 2.0mm The cable is wound on the non-returnable steel drum. Both ends of cable are securely fastened to drum and sealed with a shrinkable cap. The required marking is printed with a weather-proof material on the outsides of drum according to customer s requirement. For different length of cable, we provide different packing methods.
