About Us At we specialise in Sheet Metal Fabrication, CNC Machining Onsite work/welding, full design service. We are a Cumbernauld based company operating from our 12500 sq/ft factory and have been established since 2014 with over twenty years in the trade. We have built and excellent reputation for quality and service and most new customers are passed on from existing customers. we work with a broad range of materials from stainless steel mild steel, brass, copper, zintec, aluminium. We stock most standard materials for a quick turn around and all others are available on a next day basis. We can accept drawings and 3D models in most formats as these can be simply converted by our software to format that our machines can recognise, which speeds up set-up time and reduces the chance of human error. Our reinvestment programme has kept us at the cutting edge of technology and this is reflected in our quality, delivery, dates and prices. We offer a wide range of services which include : CAD/CAM : Cnc Machining : Cnc Punching : Laser Cutting : Metal Forming : Welding / Fabrication : Painting : Powder Coating : Onsite Work/ Welding : Plastic Fabrication As a sub-contractor you must be prepared to react quickly and be ready for the unexpected. Due to our many years of knowledge and experience in the competitive market we are confident that we can meet the requests and expectations from our clients. :

CAD/CAM Our equipment is CNC controlled utilising the latest Software communication and programming tools. We provide advice on best production practices and assist on minor modifications using cad thus reducing programming time and costs allowing us to provide clients with competitive prices. Our software includes: Solidworks (3d modeling) Solidcam (Programming CNC Milling and Turning machines) Sigmanest (Programming Laser and Turret Punch) Sigmabend (for accurate development of 3d models) Trumpf Trubend (for programming of Pressbrakes) SigmaMRP (MRP, CRM, quoting software) CNC Punching Using our Trumpf TC2020 CNC punching machine, Fabrications can offer high accuracy, high speed and competitively priced parts. Technical capabilities: Material thickness: 0.5mm up to 6mm Accuracy: Punching accuracy of 0.02mm Materials: CR4 (Mild steel) / Zintec / Galvanised steel / Aluminium / Stainless steel / Copper / Brass / Pre-coated steel (Plastisol) Features: Embossing / Part No. Stamping / Forming / Countersinks / Thread forming Punching acceleration rate up to 1200 hits / min Maxmium Sheet size: 3000mm x 1250mm

CNC Machining Through continual re-investment in the latest machines and people, are able to produce the highest quality products at the most competitive prices. We machine components from a range of materials such as carbon steels, tool steels, alloys, exotic steels (e.g. Super Duplex and Inconel), plastics and nylon. Industries served include Oil & Gas, electronic, food & drink, medical, Energy and scientific. CNC 5 Axis Milling Components up to 430 x 430 x 430 can be machined on our 5 axis milling machines. Each machine is fully equipped with up to 24 standard tools and Renishaw probes. CNC Vertical Milling Components up to 1016 x 508 x 535 can be machined on our vertical milling machines. Each machine is fully equipped with up to 24 standard tools, Renishaw probes and 4th Axis. CNC Horizontal Milling Components up to 400 x 400 x 600 can be machined on our twin pallet vertical milling machines. Each machine is fully equipped with up to 60 standard tools and Renishaw probes. CNC Mill Turn Components up to 648mm dia X 1118mm long can be turned in our CNC c/w Y axis mill turns. CNC Turning Components to 648mm dia X 1118mm long can be turned in our CNC lathes and up to 40mm dia can put manufactured in our bar fed machines. All our machine can be programmed off line which ensures the accurate production of complex parts.

Laser Cutting Laser Cutting Capacity Mild Steel 20mm x 3000 x 1500 Stainless Steel 12mm x 3000 x 1500 Aluminium 8mm x 3000 x 1500 Why choose laser cutting / laser profiling? No tooling cost Rapid prototyping Greater accuracy Quick turn around In comparison with punching it gives a superior edge finish that requires no de-burring or finishing. Intricate detail & marking are all possible. Lasers can cut complex shapes without the need for tooling. Speed is comparable or faster than other profile cutting methods. Localised heat distortion is reduced. A polished edge finish can be achieved on stainless steel using a nitrogen assist gas. The accuracy of the cut part achievable The repeatability and consistency of the process The level of detail achievable The range of materials which can be processed The speed of the process The cost of parts The ease of changing parts (particularly when compared to hard tooling etc) The lack of physical contact during the process The small heat affected zone

Metal Forming Brake press capacity 4 meters X 130 tons Fabrications have two 7 Axis Pressbrakes rated up to 130 tonnes and are capable of bending up to 4 metre lengths in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, used for folding precision sheet metal components. To assist in component design, has an advanced 3D CADCAM system to develop complex folded components and produce CNC programs which can be generated quickly offline which reduces machine downtime and setup and decreases operator error and are then stored for future use. r olling Capacity Fabrications also have 2 sets of Power Rolls on site that can roll up to 6mm thick plate by 1250mm long. Welding / Fabrication Fabrication s welding engineers are equipped to weld all ferrous and non ferrous materials, there are dedicated welding bays with MIG, TIG, stick, spot welding and robotic welding facilities. At Fabrications we have good experience of Fabricating jobs from a wide variety of different industries. is well equipped to handle anything from small light sheet metal components to medium sized heavier fabrications from industries such as the Food industry to Power Generation and Oil & Gas etc.

Painting A quality paint finish can add years to the lifetime of a piece of plant or machinery. It s the reason why we go beyond fabrication to supply you with fully finished products. Our wet painting booth can handle parts up to 6 meters long, we use traditional spray painting techniques and also Airless Spray guns, these operate connected to a high pressure pump commonly found using 300 to 7,500 psi pressure to atomize the coating, using different tip sizes to achieve desired atomization and spray pattern size. This type of system is used to paint heavy duty industrial, chemical and marine coatings and linings. Advantages of airless spray are: The coating penetrates better into pits and crevices. A uniform thick coating is produced, reducing the number of coats required. A very wet coating is applied, ensuring good adhesion and flow-out. Most coatings can be sprayed with very little thinner added, thereby reducing drying time and decreasing the release of solvent into the environment. Powder Coating Powder coating is a high-quality finish found on thousands of products you come in contact with each day. Powder coating protects the roughest, toughest machinery and components. It provides a more durable finish than liquid paints can offer, while still providing an attractive finish. Powder coated products are more resistant to diminished coating quality as a result of impact, moisture, chemicals, utraviolet light, and other extreme weather conditions. In turn, this reduces the risk of scratches, chipping, abrasions, corrosion, fading, and other wear issues.
