Florida s Continued Growth Florida is currently home to nearly 21 million residents. By 2030, we are expecting an additional 6 million people calling Florida home. Strategic investments to our infrastructure allows Florida to keep pace with the growing demands and prepare for our future growth through planning, collaboration and continued investment. 2

Work Zone Safety Work Zone Safety remains a high priority for FDOT. FDOT is continuing it s participation in the Work Zone Safety Coalition. Work zone safety has been added as an available law enforcement overtime grant, increasing high visibility enforcement in work zones. FDOT will be continuing with its increased levels of inspection for temporary crash cushions and barriers. 10
