ADDENDUM NO. 01 PROJECT Colby Glass E.S. Window Upgrades and ADA Work PROJECT NO. 16043 DATE February 07, 2018 TO: All Prime Contract Bidders and all others to whom Drawings and Specifications have been issued by the Architect/Engineer. This Addendum forms a part of the Contract Documents. This addendum modifies and supplements the Contract Documents as follows for the above-mentioned project and includes two (2) pages, three (3) attachments, and no revised drawing sheets. Costs Included in Cash Allowances: Cost of product for purchase, delivery, and installation to Contractor or subcontractor, less applicable trade discounts. B. Architect Responsibilities: 1. Consult with Contractor for consideration and selection of products, suppliers, and installers. 2. Select products in consultation with Owner and transmit decision to Contractor. 3. Prepare Change Order. C. Contractor Responsibilities: 1. Assist Architect in selection of products, suppliers, and installers. 2. Obtain proposals from suppliers and installers and offer recommendations. 3. On notification of which products have been selected, execute purchase agreement with designated supplier and installer. 4. Arrange for and process shop drawings, product data, and samples. Arrange for delivery. 5. Promptly inspect products upon delivery for completeness, damage, and defects. Submit claims for transportation damage. D. Differences in costs will be adjusted by Change Order. 1.4 CONTINGENCY ALLOWANCE A. Contractor's costs for products, delivery, installation, labor, insurance, payroll, taxes, bonding, equipment rental, overhead and profit will be included in Change Orders authorizing expenditure of funds from this Contingency Allowance. B. Funds will be drawn from the Contingency Allowance only by Change Order. C. At closeout of Contract, funds remaining in Contingency Allowance will be credited to Owner by Change Order. 1.5 ALLOWANCES SCHEDULE A. Section 04 2000 - Unit Masonry: Include a stipulated sum for purchase, delivery, and installation of 500 sf of brick veneer at the Unit Price determined in Section 01 2200 - Unit Prices. B. Contingency Allowance: Include the stipulated sum/price of $25,000 for use upon Owner's instructions.
