It is proposed that the Specifications shall be part of the Project Manual which shall include the Contract for Construction DIVISION 1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 011000 SUMMARY Project consists of a renovation of 52, two and three bedroom apartments in thirteen buildings with parking and a community building. The buildings are wood frame structures on a concrete crawlspace or basement with floor joists and roof trusses. The exterior materials are primarily brick veneer, horizontal vinyl siding and architectural shingles. 1. Project Location: Christiansburg, Virginia. 2. Owner: Smoke Ridge, LLC. 012100 ALLOWANCES This Section includes administrative and procedural requirements governing allowances. Certain materials and equipment are specified in the Contract Documents by allowances. In some cases, these allowances include installation. Allowances have been established in lieu of additional requirements and to defer selection of actual materials and equipment to a later date when additional information is available for evaluation. General project coordination procedures. 2. Conservation. 3. Coordination Drawings. 4. Administrative and supervisory personnel. 5. Project meetings. 013200 CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS DOCUMENTATION documenting the progress of construction during performance of Work, including the following: 1. Preliminary Construction Schedule. 2. Contractor s Construction Schedule. 3. Submittals Schedule. 4. Daily construction reports 5. Material location reports. 6. Field condition reports. 7. Special reports. 8. Construction photographs. 013300 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES submitting Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples, and other miscellaneous submittals. 014000 QUALITY REQUIREMENTS quality assurance and quality control. Testing and inspecting services are required to verify compliance with requirements specified or indicated.
