A complete chemical analysis of each heat produced shall be supplied for review. 6. HEAT TREATMENT AND STRESS RELIEVING The liner shall be tempered to achieve the required mechanical properties. The temper procedure shall be submitted to the owner for review with the bid. Supplier shall provide copies of heat treatment reports and furnace chart recordings. 6.3 MECHANICAL PROPERTIES The mechanical properties of the liners shall meet the following requirements: Surface Hardness: > 550 HB The surface hardness shall be tested and reported for a representative sample of each type of liners produced. 6.4 DIMENSIONAL The liner dimensions shall meet the requirements and tolerances specified on the engineering drawings. The bolt pattern shall be checked on 0% of the parts produced with a go-no-go gauge to ensure compliance with the tolerances of the engineering drawings. 6.5 NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING Each liner produced shall be submitted to the following inspection after final heat treatment: 100% visual inspection. No Cracks are allowed.

5/7 No rounded indications greater than 0% of the thickness. In addition, ASTM A80 shall be used for the acceptance standards of the following: adhering sand B5 scale/scab E4 cold shuts D3 All Hot tears NCR to be submitted to owner for review and acceptance. 6.6 DEFECTS/REPAIRS When defects, which would prevent the piece from meeting the Owner s requirements, are found, a non-conformance report (NCR) shall be issued.
