The CNP is a programme that is committed to assisting new graduates prepare for the workplace, by building the right competencies and behaviors needed for successful performance as a professional in the real world of work.the CNP Program provides the best possible opportunities for graduates to build, refine and articulate their skills. Utilizing psychometric and personality assessment tools we provide a broad view of your personality and abilities and help you shape this for the world of work. Our career advisors, coaches and instructors guide graduates to develop and strengthen their professional competencies and leadership behaviors. What is employability skills? Employability skills have been defined after extensive collaboration by academics and business as: a set of attributes, skills and knowledge that all labour market participants should possess to ensure they have the capability of being effective in the workplace to the benefit of themselves, their employer and the wider economy. Employability skills include:
Self-Management - Readiness to accept responsibility, flexibility,resilience,self-starting, appropriate assertiveness, time management, readiness to improve own performance based on feedback/reflective learning.positive attitude: a can-do approach, openness to new ideas and a drive to make these happen. Entrepreneurship /enterprise - An ability to demonstrate an innovative approach, creativity, collaboration and risk taking. An individual with these attributes can make a huge difference to any business. Problem solving and critical thinking Analysing facts and situations and applying creative thinking to develop appropriate solutions. Team Working Respecting others, co-operating, negotiating/persuading, contributing to discussions, a readiness to take part and contribute, and awareness of interdependence with others. Business and Customer awareness - Basic understanding of the key drivers for business success including financial awareness, the importance of change, innovation and taking calculated risks and the need to provide customer satisfaction and build customer loyalty. Communication and literacy Application of literacy, ability to produce clear, structured written work and oral literacy including listening and questioning.
Application of information technology Basic IT skills, including familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, file management and use of internet search engines. In addition the programme provides candidates with what they need to know to apply for a job, such as CV writing, interview techniques and how to demonstrate that they possess employability skills. Application of numeracy Manipulation of numbers, general mathematical awareness and its application in practical contexts (e.g. measuring, weighing, estimating and applying formulae). WHAT S The programme provides lessons on grooming and personal style to reflect the brand of the employinvolved? er positively. The course consists of a series of nine modules, which are taught over the two full days with 12 weeks of online and self-directed learning. After each session delegates will be given assignments and post-course action plans and further online learning which reinforce the skills and techniques taught on each session. 2 days In Person classroom Training 2 Career Coaching Sessions over 12 weeks 9 Online Learning Modules over 12 weeks 1 Personality Insight/Assessment Report 2 Group Online Traction Clinics Assigned Talent Manager and Career Advisor Tuition, Course Materials, Coaching Sessions, Traction Clinics and Insight Report are part of the course fees for the programme. Assigned Talent Manager and Career Advisor is a free service provided to all participants. Time Commitment: Per participant: 2-3 hours a week plus 2 full day events.
