www.bmtindia.org The engineering design of LNG terminals requires specialist knowledge and experience. BMT Consultants India has over the years demonstrated expertise in this area and associates with its customers right from concept to commissioning. From the early planning stages of the LNG facilities, detailed engineering and design, to support during construction of the terminal, BMT CI offers an extensive portfolio of services to guide customers through the course of the project lifecycle. Our work on LNG terminals began with the Shell and Petronet terminals at Hazira and Dahej respectively. We have since worked on numerous LNG terminals. Our experience includes greenfield as well brownfield sites. We have worked on India s first proposed FSRU terminal at Jafrabad from site selection through to preparation of EPC documents. We were responsible for the environmental clearance for the first FSRU LNG terminal in India. We have also provided design services overseas for LNG terminals at Singapore and Melaka (Malaysia). As market leaders in the marine civil design of LNG terminals, we have developed a number of innovative approaches. This includes a quantitative tool for site selection, innovative and cost saving design during construction and a full understanding of the critical interfaces with process consultants, environment, risk as well as statutory bodies.
