SIDE-SEAMER MACHINES LTR2: A new era in side-seaming TECHNOLOGY PackSys Global introduces the LTR2 side-seamer, the only side-seamer in the world operating with a closed control loop, leading to exceptional process stability. With 5 years proven success in high quality seam technology brought by the LTR side-seamer, the LTR2 has all the advantages of LTR including INVISEAM. The machine has a quick size changeover capability, an automatic splicing web roll and the next step in side-seam stability the A4S system. The Mini 120 Header/Capper, which is uniquely and specifically designed for small tube diameters from 12.7 mm to 22 mm, will free capacity on other lines which are capable of making larger diameter tubes with higher selling prices. This integrated line allows plastic tube producers to reduce lead time for the delivery of small tubes as well as dramatically reducing the production costs. HPS The HPS system has 10 stations, each with a single mandrel for the production of up to 60 tubes per minute. Using resin material in granulate form, the HPS heading system molds the shoulder and fuses it simultaneously to the tube body. The modular system provides easy access for fast and simple tube diameter, orifice and thread changes. HPL/HPX Experience shows that retooling for a new order can take hours of valuable production time. But no more: our HPL and HPX headers reduce changeover time to as low as ten minutes and the changeover does not require any hand tools. The 90 tpm HPL can be upgraded to the 150 tpm HPX when you need it simply by adding more tooling.
