GRI Index Table - compliance table to GRI G3 guidelines The 2010 SKF Sustainability Report covers the reporting period January to December 2010. Since 2000, SKF has adopted the Global Reporting Initiative s reporting guidelines in its sustainability reporting. This Report is of no exception and is based on the G3 Guidelines where SKF reports on all Profile Disclosures, Management Approach, relevant Core Performance Indicators and itional Indicators. As part of the report content definition and the reflection of its materiality, all reporting indicators have been carefully evaluated and those that are considered of significant materiality in relation to SKF's economic, environmental and social impact, as well as its sustainability performance, are included in the Sustainability Report. Other indicator explanations, where the statistics compilations deviate from the indicator protocol specified, or that are considered to be of less material value to SKF s reporting, are provided in the G3 Index table below. These are marked with, adjacent to the indicators and the comments given. The principle of ensuring qualitative reporting in terms of accuracy, comparability, clarity, timeliness, balance, and reliability, is highly valued by SKF. To live up to this principle, SKF has been submitting its Reports for third party verification for more than 10 years. The 2010 Sustainability Report was subject to a limited assurance, in accordance with Far (the institute for the accounting profession in Sweden) recommendation RevR 6 Assurance of sustainability reports. The Report on the review on the Sustainability Report is on page 147 in the SKF Annual Report (including Sustainability Report). With reference to the GRI G3 Application Level Criteria, the 2010 Sustainability report is self-declared to having fulfilled the A+ application level, which is confirmed by our external auditors KPMG. The following topics related to the SKF Annual Report (TRAR) 2010 including Sustainability Report are to be found at www.skf.com, choose Investors and Reports. - Articles of Association - The SKF Code of Conduct - The SKF Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Policy - Environmental performance data - Zero Accidents award winners - Production sites as of 31 December 2010 - Compliance table to GRI G3 Guidelines (G3 Index Table) - Carbon dioxide emissions data Compliance table to GRI G3 Guidelines (GRI Index Table).xls Page 1 of 7
