The experience obtained during this period has been embedded in the software solutions offered to the marked and through direct consultancy work. 2 Software Subscriptions 2.1 NEMS Accounter - Online Environmental Management System NEMS Accounter is a web-based environmental management system designed for the oil and gas industry. It is fully operational from day one and easily scalable to match customers operations. NEMS Accounter is intuitive to use and continuous development ensures the system is always compliant with ever-changing demands and requirements. NEMS Accounter is currently being used by over 30 oil and gas operators, including super majors such as ExxonMobil, Shell, BP and Total. NEMS Accounter is compliant with ISO 14001/14031, will ease your follow-up of ISO 50001, and has been through several audits with our clients without any remarks. All data entries, changes and approvals are logged, and with local data entry and central reporting, traceability and consistency are ensured. Distributed access on a need-to-know basis allows own staff, subcontractors and other stakeholders to provide or access data. Automated data exchange allows for import of data from process information systems and export of data to management reporting systems. The inbuilt report library, provides access to over 100 predefined reports. Client specific reports can be implemented in the system at customers request. The report you need for the next management meeting is never far away when using NEMS Accounter and you can create ad-hoc reports on the fly. All data can easily be exported to Excel for further processing. 2.2 NEMS Chemicals - Online Chemical Management System NEMS Chemicals is an online chemical management system designed for retrieval of ecotoxicological data from chemical suppliers by offshore operators and the Norwegian Environment Agency. NEMS Chemicals ensures that updated and quality controlled information (HOCNF) is available. 1
For operators on the NCS subscribing to NEMS Accounter and NEMS Chemicals, data can be automatically retrieved by NEMS Accounter and thus saving substantial amount of time when annual discharge reports are being prepared. The solution is operational for operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. More markets may follow based on operators and chemical suppliers interest. 3 Chemical Management add energy assists Norwegian operators and chemical suppliers with sound documentation of chemicals and with chemical management in general. add energy offers several solutions in this matter: Preparation and Quality assurance of HOCNF Advisory service and assistance with the current legislation and guidelines Pre-screening of already existing test-results by searching in available databases Assistance with eco-toxicological testing of chemicals (administration of testing and preparation of necessary documentation) Assist with chemical substitution plans Chemical management advisory services 4 Environmental Accounting and Reporting 4.1 Assistance to operators using NEMS Accounter add energy assists the operators in all aspect of operating the software including developing procedures for data retrieval, data entry and reporting. The advantage for the operators is that they will receive professional assistance from personnel having indepth system knowledge. 4.2 Adjust NEMS Accounter to meet customers specific needs Add energy can provide reports and/or amendments to NEMS Accounter system to cover clients specific needs. Such changes are offered as projects. Our team of experts will sit down with the client and scrutinize their demands to ensure the best and most cost-efficient solutions is chosen to solve the client s specific needs. As an integrated part of the development we believe the client is assured that their demands are met, and it ensures that the client can come with new input to the development team as the work is progressing. We truly believe that incremental development succeeded by incremental release will give the client a much better solution to a certain request, than a traditional waterfall approach. 4.3 Environmental Benchmarking add energy has extensive experience assisting operators in environmental reporting and accounting. Furthermore, all the operators on the Norwegian Continental Shelf have been assisted with quality assurance of reported data. This has given us experience with handling and assessing vast amount of data, which has given us valuable insight in environmental benchmarking. 2
We have assisted many operators comparing their environmental performance to other, similar operators giving our clients an environmental edge in their quest for environmental sustainable operations. 5 Prognosis and Front-End studies 5.1 GHG and energy forecasting add energy has since 1998 assisted the major operators on the Norwegian Continental Shelf with preparation of annual emission forecasts, which are mandatory in Norway. Annually add energy prepare over 400 GHG and energy forecasts for over 95% of all fields and projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. We do this work using our own proprietary software, NEMS Forecaster. 5.2 Environmental budgeting Environmental budgets are often required as a part of many field development studies. add energy has prepared many environmental budgets for operators as well as for major engineering contractors. add energy will normally assist its clients in assessing the future emissions to air, waste generation and discharge of oil and chemicals to sea for new projects in accordance with local standards. The advantage of the clients is that they receives professional assistance from very experienced and highly qualified personnel having access to a wide range of reference data. 5.3 Environmental assessment of design options add energy perform environmental assessment of alternative development scenarios an environmental life-cycle approach from cradle to grave. The tasks would also include energy and fuel forecasts. 5.4 Power from shore add energy has performed a large number of power-from-shore studies for important customers such as the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association and the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD).
