Success Story OpenScape field-tested by Serbian systems consultant Informatika with plans to offer it regionally. Informatika delivers a new era of UC solutions to businesses across the West Balkans regions. The Task As a long-standing supporter of OpenScape solutions, Informatika sought to lead the region in providing the latest version of this popular Unified Communications (UC) solution. With help from Unify and one of its premium distributors, NES Communications, Informatika installed and critically evaluated a beta version of OpenScape within its organization, comprised of 212 IT specialists serving Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independence States (CIS). The Solution OpenScape, a UC solution that easily and seamlessly harmonizes all clients and media in a unified environment. Intelligently integrates the merging of voice, video, web, e-mail, text and mobility including social media and other functions to expedite workflows, speed decision-making and improve the overall performance of organizations. Can be installed on-site, in full Cloud or hybrid-cloud frameworks. Enables more effective team collaboration for greater staff cohesion, productivity and improved work/life balance. The Benefits Successful trial confirms OpenScape s value, especially in integrating mobile devices, a critical need among regional businesses and large enterprises. Multi-site companies can work as single harmonized organizations. Gives mobile employees UC capabilities, including rich presence and conferencing on mobile devices when traveling. Other mobile client features include one-number-service (ONS), voice over WLAN and an intuitive gesturebased interface.
