1. Biological spectrum Iprodione is a contact fungicide with protective and curative action. It inhibits germination of spores and growth of fungal mycelium. It is used for control of Botrytis, Monilia, Sclerotinia, Alternaria, Corticium, Fusarium, Helminthosporium, Phoma, Rhizoctonia, Typhula spp., etc. It is used mainly on sunflowers, cereals, fruit trees, berry fruit, oilseed rape, rice, cotton, vegetables, ornamentals and vines. 2. Method of application Ensure that the sprayer or other applicator is clean and set to give the correct volume and an even deposit. Half-fill the sprayer or container with water then add the recommended quantity of. Add the rest of water and agitate the mixture thoroughly. The diluted product must be used only on the day of mixing. 3. Uses and rates of application a. Oleaginous cruciferous Against Alternaria, apply 1 l/ha b. Vines Against grey mould, apply 1.5 l/ha c. Pre-harvest interval Strawberry tree : 3-7 days Cabbage : 2-3 weeks Carrots : 2-3 weeks Shallots, endive, salad : 3-4 weeks Tomatoes, cucumbers, gherkins, courgettes, : 3 days capsicum, aubergine Witloof : after setting up roots in layer Lettuce : do not treat when salad weigh more than 40 g or the last application must be made 3 days sooner if harvest has to be done when salads weigh 200-250 g. 5. Compatibility Iprodione can be mixed with the following active ingredients: carbendazim, thiophanatemethyl, chlorothalonil, fosetyl aluminium, bromuconazole, thiram, imazalil, chlorothalonil.
6. Safety precautions Observe the general rules for handling crop protection chemicals: Keep out of reach of children, away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Wash concentrate from skin or eyes immediately. Wash hands and exposed skin before eating, drinking or smoking before meals and after work. Do not breathe spray mist. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show label where possible). 7. Storage and disposal Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with chemical or used container. Do not reuse empty container for any other purpose. Wash out container thoroughly, empty washings into spray tank and dispose of safely. (by burning, taking care to not breathe smokes). Store in the original container, tightly closed, in a cool, well ventilated local, protected heat, away from food or feed. Do not reuse the container for any other purpose but destroy rinsed container by puncturing and crushing. 8. Emergency guidelines First aid In case of skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Wash contamination form skin with soap and clean water. Cold water may be used.
In case of eye contact : Irrigate eyes with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Cold water may be used. Get medical attention if irritation occurs. If swallowing has occurred or is suspected: Induce vomiting if person if fully conscious and seek medical advice immediately. Show this technical data sheet or label where possible. Administration of gastric lavage with activated charcoal is recommended. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar. If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention.
