Commercialization will begin with the kw model, well suited to the residential market needs. Technical innovation Energiestro technology is based on the storage of the energy produced by an engine in an innovative flywheel/alternator. This high efficiency storage, much better than batteries, enables the Energiestro system to produce power continuously, independently from the grid. which make it economical and reliable. In addition to its innovative storage, the Energiestro system makes use of two other technologies that are particularly respectful of the environment: cogeneration and biofuels. Hybrid operation: The flywheel makes it Achieving a very low fuel consumption and a very possible the Energiestro group to function in a long life, it represents a tremendous progress hybrid way. When the request for electricity is compared to conventional generators. The weak, which represents the main part of time flywheel/alternator uses only proven technologies, of residential use, energy comes from the flywheel and the engine remains stopped. When the request for electricity is strong, energy comes directly from the engine. Thanks to hybrid operation, the fuel consumption and the wear of the engine are much lower than with a conventional genset whose engine turns permanently.

Comparisons The Energiestro system has a much lower initial cost (investment) than a special connection to the grid or a photovoltaic (PV) solar system. Thanks to its efficient storage, the Energiestro system has an extremely low operating cost: around 0.0 $ per kilowatt-hour when using cogeneration and a biofuel, close to the cost of the grid. Finally, the Life Cycle Cost of the Energiestro system (comprised of the initial cost and the operating cost) is half that of a PV solar system, and one third that of a conventional generator. It is the most economical renewable energy in this power range. 0 000 HT 0 000 HT 0 000 HT 0 000 HT 0 000 HT 0 000 HT Comparison of cumulated cost over 0 years for kw systems 0 0 Conventional generator + fuel + service + fuel Years + service PV solar Panels + + inverter + battery + backup generator Comparison of technologies For kw systems Photovoltaic (PV) solar system 0% (Lead battery efficiency < 0%) Cleaning of solar panels Monthly 00 litres Groupe électrogène conventionnel Initial Cost 0 000 $ 000 $ - 000 $ Battery bank must be changed every to years Cost =,000 $ to add the cost of the backup generator Every day in winter (charging generator) % (charging generator) Fuel Consumption Comparison for one day The curves opposite show the use of the power according to the hour in residential application. Cogeneration makes the Energiestro system very profitable, efficiency can reach 0% 0 Diesel oil tank (only for initial cold engine start) Main biofuel tank Engine cooling pump Engine heat recovery Hot water tank Circulating pumps Engine Exhaust gas heat recovery (optional) Heaters Clutch Flywheel/alternator (stores energy and produces electricity) Electronic inverter Radiator Catalytic converter (optional) Cold exhaust Heat exchanger Boiler (wood or biofuel) 0 Lavatory, shower Water supply Main power breaker Lights, appliances Standard ENERGIESTR systems are cogeneration ready: the heat produced in the engine during power generation can be recovered as explained on the above diagram. The engine cooling circuit is connected to a heat exchanger; heat is stored in a hot water tank in the building, from which hot water and space heating are produced. An optional heat exchanger further recovers exhaust heat, doubling the amount of heat recovered and pushing thermal efficiency to 0%. In residential applications, this enables to cover free of charge the heating needs of a sufficiently insulated house. The amount of heat recovered is roughly equal to the amount of electrical power produced. In residential applications, this is sufficient to cover free of charge the hot water needs. When the hot water tank is full of heat, excess heat is classically dissipated by the engine radiator.

With biofuels, Energiestro is a sustainable and renewable energy The different fuels made from agriculture, known as biofuels, have a lot of benefits in comparison to fossil fuels, mainly to be carbon neutral. Biofuels are a sustainable solution to the energy problem, in that they are renewable (they are solar energy conveniently stored in the most compact form), cheap (their final cost is close to that of fossil fuels) and very abundant (they could totally replace fossil fuels). Using the Energiestro system with a biofuel represents a true renewable energy, like solar and wind, but more economical and practical. We propose as an option Energiestro systems that are modified to operate with biofuels.
