Petroleum Planning & Analysis Cell Monthly Report on Natural gas production, availability and consumption - July 2017 1. Highlights of the report for the month of July 2017 are as follows: Gross production for the month of July 2017 was 2858.50 which was an increase by 5.69% over the corresponding month of the previous year. Total import of LNG for the month of July 2017 was 2094.99 which increased by 6.78% over the corresponding month of the previous year. Total consumption for the month of July 2017 was 4388.44 which was an increase of approximately 7.50 % over the corresponding month of the previous year. Total consumption by fertilizer, power, petrochemicals, sponge iron, refinery and other sectors for the month of July 2017 was 143.70 D. 2. Natural Gas production: Pvt./ JVs ONGC Natural Gas Production in July 2017 5.69 % 2705 2859 625 553 256 250 1824 2055 * 11.47% 2.30% 12.69% July 2017 (P) * Production under Pvt./JV fields in July, 2017 decreased as there was production fall in Krishna Godavari D6 block (KGD6) and Panna-Mukta fields. However there was also increase in production in RJ-ON/6, RJ-ON-90/1, Ranjganj South and Sohagpur (W) fields. Page -1

Natural Gas net availability: Natural Gas producing companies use some quantity of gas for their own use as internal consumption while some quantity of gas is flared as a part of technical requirement. After flare, loss and internal consumption by gas producing companies, the net availability of gas for other value added products like fertilizer, petrochemicals, CGD, refinery etc. and for fuel was approximately 80.23% of the gross production during July 2017.
