Raytheon Professional Services. Unique among training providers. Delivering business results. Our History Raytheon Professional Services capabilities and expertise are built on training practices developed by our predecessor companies over the past seven decades. Beginning in the 1930s, these companies delivered flight simulators to clients in the government and military sectors. They later provided curriculum design and training administration services. In the 1990s, Raytheon Professional Services was formed through the thoughtful integration of training organizations that Raytheon had acquired over the years. We targeted the commercial sector, primarily the automotive industry in North America, Europe and Asia. Two of our programs awarded during this decade continue to be among the largest training programs ever outsourced. Today, we work in partnership with Raytheon s technical services business, which generates more than Euro 1.9 billion in services sales annually. Our client base has expanded beyond the automotive industry to include leading companies in the pharmaceutical, defense, financial services, heavy-duty equipment and other industries. We also manage the training operations for our parent company Raytheon. We continue to invest in new training technologies and practices as we establish ourselves in new regions globally. In 2004, we opened a shared services center in Barcelona, followed by another in Detroit in 2006. We established a presence in Russia in 2005 and in Mexico in 2006. Our growth strategy is founded on leadership in training innovation and global scale, especially in emerging markets. Examples of Raytheon Professional Services in Action Our training solutions help clients achieve specific business results. Here are several examples of how we ve delivered value to clients. For an automotive client in Europe, we helped re-engineer the client s training supply chain, reducing its number of providers from 180 to 60 while improving the quality of the client s training experience across 20 countries. For an automotive client in North America, we rationalized the client s training facilities and introduced a blended learning model, significantly reducing the client s annual investment in training while doubling the number of participants. For a retail client in Asia, we designed and implemented sales competency models, ultimately increasing sales by 35 percent. For a manufacturing client in North America, the client s retooling of its plan required that we re-skill employees on new processes and tools, resulting in accelerating employee time to proficiency by 60 percent. INDUSTRY RECOGNITION Over the years, Raytheon Professional Services has been recognized around the world by professional associations, analysts and researchers for the scope, quality and impact of our training solutions.
