Scenario Enhance the Business Partner transaction using EEWB and extract the data to BW. Step-by-Step Solution Document explains the method to enhance the CRM Business Partner transaction and then extract the data to BW using Generic extraction. This is explained in two steps: Business Partner Enhancement: Steps to use EEWB (Easy Enhancement Workbench) to enhance the Business Partner Transaction (Transaction Code: BP) Business Partner (BW Extraction): Generic extraction using Database View to extract CRM Business Partner relevant data. Business Partner Enhancement Transaction: EEWB (To enhance the screen for Business Partner) Step1: Go to transaction EEWB and create a project BP (Right Click on Project) Step2: Create an extension for the project BP Enter the below mentioned parameters 2010 SAP AG 3
After this is done, a pop up screen would be displayed to enter the necessary parameters: a) Start : Click Continue b) Enter the cardinality as SINGLE INSTANCE or MULTIPLE INSTANCE. Single Instance, that is, has one record for a business partner. These extensions are always time dependent. You can, however, select the time dependency constraint to be either With Gaps or No Gaps. Multiple Instance, that is, has more than one record for a business partner. These extensions can be time dependent or time independent. If you select the extension to be time dependent, you also have to select the time dependency constraint from the following options: With Gaps, No Gaps or Time Validity. 2010 SAP AG 4
c) Frame Title: Enter the frame title name displayed on the enhanced screen d) Field Definition: Enter the Field Label, Type, Length, Decimal and Check Table details. Data Type allowed: Character Field, Data Field, Numeric Field, Checkbox, Currency Field, Quantity Field and Amount Field. e) Field Usage: Give it as BW Relevant and Mobile Relevant f) Complete: Generate the newly added field by clicking Complete Create Records a) Added Fields in the tab Customer Data b) Create a Business Partner 101, with the below following values for Custom data: 2010 SAP AG 5
c) Check the values in the custom table created during the enhancement of screen Custom Table Name: ZBUT0000O8KP82 Values of new fields: 2010 SAP AG 6
