1) Called to Order (Kali Fogel) The meeting was called to order at 1:48 p.m. Introductions of everyone present. 2) Approved Previous Minutes (Committee) Minutes of October 21, 2014 meeting were approved. KF HL GC Y Y Y 3) Data Access Agreements Discussion (Committee) Clear Path agreement: Approved with the condition City of LA transportation data won t be released at this time. Restricted access to the ISP agreement only. Carole Cleary working on it. Do not release Department of Transportation data. 4) Agency/ISP Applications Action (Committee) New application, SkedGo.com, requested ISP data without Department of Transportation data. Approval for Skedgo application The agreement will be the same as the Clear Path agreement. Australian company. Legal looking into it. Approval obtained for Clear Path. KF HL GC Y Y Y 5) RIITS Maintenance Status Discussion (Glenn Murphy) a. System monitoring Recently migrated to Op Manager. Demo of dashboard provided to participants. Monitors host servers, network switches for RIITS Monitors stale data, monitors time stamps in the xml file. Monitors refreshing of data Generates reports for Metro (performance, availability). Reports have been tailored to Metro s request. 2

Links to the Trouble Ticket system, to monitor outages allows for better tracking and response to issues. b. Foothill Transit Upgrade FHT upgrade to their system. RIITS only to query the database to get transit data. In the process of analyzing what needs to be done to modify the RIITS interface. Coordination with FHT c. Metro bus and rail upgrade under RIITS Maintenance Transit database updated to a later version of Oracle. Interface needs to be updated for RIITS. Working to let Metro know what tables RIITS needs to access. Metro agreed to provide: real time data, schedule data and passenger counts. d. Multi-interface Project The purpose is to retrieve: o traffic flow information from express lanes, o upgrade Caltrans HQ data feed (network modification) throughout backbone o lane-by-lane traffic data from Caltrans o Caltrans events planned and unplanned (i.e. collision info) Kali would like to know what work will be completed before the end of the contract (end of March. Glenn to provide dates when integration of the above items will occur. Kali would like to know if Caltrans would be interested in modifying the existing MOU to obtain a sub-license agreements. Iteris (Chuck G) asked if the Port of Long Beach will be part of the integration. o PoLB is doing an analysis of their system o Contractor on board around March or so they need time to do an analysis. o Not part of the multi-interface project at this time. Caltrans D8 Interface contingent in getting the firewalls set up. o Improvements will be done on how data is routed o D8 data will come through fiber. Request to get the work done by Friday, at this time it looks like it would be pushed one-two weeks. 3

Request for new line for Caltrans D7 TMC to Metro. Existing T1 is too small. Higher capacity line has been requested. 6) Other Items Discussion (Committee) Coordination about future projects: City of LA waiting for Metro funding agreement on I-5 corridor projects to be executed before projects start. Caltrans does not have any agreements for the measure R-Fund tied to RIITS Physical route will be out through Caltrans D7 LARTMC and then rerouted to desired location. City of LA - There is a pull box close to the freeway / close to both parties. This will be share access, dedicated bandwidth but not dedicated fiber. Looking for spots on ideal locations to conduct investigation in the field, to determine how the physical fiber is going to be re-routed and how construction will occur. Kali is looking for 4 locations One location can be Eagle Rock area City of LA: Kali is looking to hire a consultant on board for communications plan. Demonstrate how RIITS can make an agency connection City of LA requests 1-2 weeks to think about bringing a contractor on board RIITS needs to coordinate with Caltrans to do work for modification of ATMS for Express Lanes and lane by lane data TrafficLand would like to modify agreement and have access to more Caltrans cameras. Meeting notice sent for this Friday to discuss. Looking for TrafficLand to stream data for D8 and D12. No agreement with those two districts yet. Budget due Feb 26. Transit working with Montebello Bus Lines RIITS form Discussed options for incorporating video from buses 4

Currently getting session timeouts upgrade the firewall to allow free flow of the data Power infrastructure work complete; Kali getting UPCs for 220V to connect all on redundant power November 6 th Metro/Waze meeting at 10:30 November 7 th Metro Open Session how the public will be better served by the data LADOT: DHS brought in to review network security There is an agency switch sitting outside the firewall; may need to upgrade; waiting for report from DHS RITSI project was the result of an audit; If Caltrans is okay with sharing the data, then Kali can get LADOT the information 7) Next Meeting Date and Time Action (Committee) a.
