CapSettle is a convergent modular billing and settlement solution for the entire wholesale domain. The selected solution functionality is determined by the operator and enabled. CapSettle has a unique solution capability based on a Business Logic Rule Engine. With its bi-directional rating engine, operators will be able to handle incoming, outgoing and transit calls with both direct and cascade billing. The volume discount functionality gives the operator the possibility to create attractive agreements with its partners where both rewards and penalties can be configured based on usage. CapSettle will aggregate and distribute data and handle invoices, accounts receivable, debit and credit notes automatically. ROAMING The roaming module in CapSettle handles the operator to operator settlements for traffic generated by roaming or service provider subscribers. This is done according to the standards set by the GSM Association through generation and processing of Transferred Account Procedures (TAP) and Rejected Account Procedures (RAP), as well as invoice and statement generation. The system is also equipped to handle the generation and exchange of Near Real Time Roaming Data Exchange files, RAEX for the exchange of agreements and IOTs as well as support for Alternative Roaming Providers (ARP) required by EU Roaming Regulation III. DIGITAL CONTENT CapSettle is equipped with advanced revenue share functionality for efficiently handle settlements with content partners. Agreements can be configured to fit any type of business model using various rating schemes, performance based discounts and customized special offerings for traditional and next generation content services. BROADBAND The demand for fast and reliable broadband services is rapidly increasing. Bandwidth intensive applications such as video conferences, file transfers and cloud based services require this, and as a broadband provider you want to ensure that you can provide as high quality product as possible. The CapSettle next generation broadband and access billing module, allows broadband providers to bill for broadband access offered to other licensed operators such as internet service providers (ISP), operators, virtual service providers (VSP), access providers and mobile virtual network operators (MVNO) either by traditional broadband price models or Metered Usage Billing models. CAPSETTLE FUNCTIONALITY HIGHLIGHTS TAP and RAP CapSettle is always up to date with the latest TAP and RAP standards (TD.57 and TD.32). The solution is also equipped with a TAP conversion feature and can produce TAP files in all known formats individually per agreement. NRTRDE With CapSettle, operators will be able to send and receive Near Real Time Roaming Data Exchange (NRTRDE) files. The files are generated at a 15 minute interval. RAEX Roaming Agreement Exchange is the process of updating and exchanging partner information and Tariffs. It allows operators to store and maintain RAEX information in CapSettle as well as create and edit RAEX files.

Volume Discounts The volume discount feature enables operators to modify the resulting charge of a set volume of traffic on a specified used amount. Discount agreements can be setup with one or more discounts based on volume with its individual partners over a specific time period. Recurrent Charges Support for non-usage based one time, or recurrent charges such as letting of space, leased lines or renting of equipment with interfacing possibilities to other support systems. Partner Management Partners are easily configured and maintained where all agreements, differentiated price plans, discounts and taxes are connected in an intuitive way. Simulation tool CapSettle introduces a unique feature in the Simulation tool. This will allow operators to test and simulate flows in CapSettle on live data in a read only state. This enables operators to keep a test case for each possible scenario with a expected result, and when a change is made on the live environment, the simulation tool can verify that changes made has not affected any existing flows in a negative way. Subscriber Aggregation The subscriber aggregation functionality enable operators to offer unique price plan packages to its subscribers, based on aggregated usage on a daily or tiered charge for inbound and outbound roaming. Account Management Each partner is linked to a consolidated statement where all information including accounts receivables and credit and debit notes are connected to individual legal entities for precise billing and settlements. Suspended files Proven concept of the handling of suspended xdrs where identification, correction and re-processing is done directly from the user interface. The CapSettle suspense management tool simplifies operational requirements and makes zero CDR s in suspense a reality. Finance & reporting Accounts receivable (payment registration, debit and credit notes) as well as invoice generation is included in CapSettle. The solution also provides real time reporting and business analysis. CapSettle can easily be interfaced to other ERPs and Data warehouse solutions. Billing CapSettle offer a variety of billing alternatives including burstable billing, also known as 95th percentile billing. This means that charge calculation will be based on 95 % bandwidth usage excluding burstable bandwidth access for 5 % of the time without financial penalty. Re-rating CapSettle allows true re-rating and re-pricing on all levels in the system since the system never manipulate the original file and it is only processed by a single solution.
