ENSURING ADEQUATE WATER RESOURCES Demand may outstrip supply by 2019 (depending on WC/WDM success) - another source must be in place Working closely with the Department of Water Affairs in prioritizing the next source Options include Voëlvlei off-river dam raising, waste water reclamation; desalination, Lourens river dam, Table Mountain Group Aquifer (ground water), Stenbras dam raising Feasibility study for desalination underway and that for wastewater reclamation will commence soon Not neglecting smaller sources of spring-water usage, rainwater harvesting
