KITE and LNG. Two high-quality training programmes You can play a key role within this environment by joining one of KAEFER s International Technical Trainee Programmes KITE and LNG. Both these programmes provide inspirational and detailed preparation for the business of engineering and projectmanagement execution, from planning to final delivery. And they ensure that as KAEFER grows so will you professionally, personally and rapidly. KAEFER s trainee programmes are designed for ambitious engineering graduates with a desire to travel and accept responsibility at an early stage in their career. But qualifications aren t everything and the ideal candidate will have some professional experience via technicalbased internships. A willingness to travel and work abroad is vital, and we would prefer you to have lived in a foreign country for study or work at some point. You should also be fluent in business English and able to demonstrate a high level of intercultural, social, and communication skills. You will also require an ability to adapt to difficult site conditions and a large degree of independence. KITE - KAEFER International Training Programme for Engineers The KITE programme adheres to the highest standards and combines technical instruction with extensive international practical training and on-site and office work. It is designed for trainees from all over the world, particularly those from regions in which KAEFER is highly active Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia. In the short term, KITE will prepare you to assume significant responsibilities from the moment you successfully complete the course. In the longer term, you will be equipped with the international experience and expertise necessary to oversee large projects or even multi-projects. The start date for your training is flexible and you will be working towards a predefined position within the KAEFER Group business areas to which your programme is attached. All trainees who successfully complete the course will be registered in KAEFER s pool of internationally mobile engineers and project managers. There is a KITE programme for all of KAEFER s business areas: Industry, Offshore, Shipbuilding and Construction. As such, KITE leads to a technical qualification that is usually focused on one business area within the KAEFER Group. The KITE cornerstones KITE involves an introduction to the technical basics of insulation followed by instruction in all relevant engineering techniques, as well as many aspects of project management.
KITE programme details The intensive and varied KITE structure is as follows: > Orientation period in your home country (2-6 months) > Technical training in Corporate Technology and Research Department in Bremen, Germany (1 month) > Two six-month training-on-the-job deployments in KAEFER regional operations Specialised insulation training will cover: > The technical principles of insulation technology (thermal insulation, acoustics, fire protection) > Norms and standards for thermal insulation (national / international standards) > Properties of insulating materials > Calculation programmes You will also receive comprehensive project management training.
KAEFER LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) Training Programme KAEFER is a leading player in cryogenic insulation for LNG a market that is growing in both size and importance. Our comprehensive and expert 12-month LNG programme combines technical training with live experience and prepares you for the execution of major LNG projects worldwide. The LNG cornerstones The start date for your training is flexible and you will be working towards an attractive and responsible position within the KAEFER s specialised LNG capability. Typical positions are HSE Manager, Quality Manager, Construction Manager, and Planning Engineer. All trainees who successfully complete the course will be registered in KAEFER s pool of internationally mobile engineers and project managers. KAEFER s LNG programme attracts trainees from all over the world, especially from areas where we carry out major LNG projects Europe, South East Asia, Australia and Canada.
