Bridge Sequence of Construction Old Carolina Road Bridge VDOT will permit full closure of Old Carolina Road Bridge during its demolition and reconstruction. Existing traffic to be detoured to alternate routes. Not to be reconstructed simultaneously with Catharpin Road Bridge. 9
