Job Description POST: RESPONSIBLE TO: LOCATION: Recovery Assistant Senior Recovery Support Worker Kingston MAIN PURPOSE OF POST: To provide good quality support to service users. To carry out duties in line with organisational policies and procedures. REPORTEES: N/A KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Service User Support & Recovery To provide day to day support of the service users. To motivate service users in all aspects of daily living To be allocated a group of key service users, carry out key-work and delivering on the agreed support plan To assist service users to attend educational, leisure and health related activities, accompanying as appropriate To assist the Team Leader/Senior Recovery Support Worker with implementation and review of support plans with the participation of service users and professionals To assist with domestic tasks, when appropriate. To liaise effectively with other agencies involved in the care/support of service users. Service user involvement To facilitate and support service users involvement in the running of the service and organisation, in liaison with the service user group the Better Lives Forum. To take part in effective consultation with individual service users and service user groups. Administration To maintain accurate service users records and all other records relating to the upkeep and maintenance of the service, including service user s wellbeing records, appointments diary and building health and safety checks. This includes electronic based records.

HOLIDAY TRADING You are entitled to 25 days (195 hours) annual leave and 8 days (62.4) public holidays from 1st April until 31st March each year. Look out for the email from your HR department in February 2015. TOIL & FLEXIBLE WORKING Employees on a fixed rota can take back hours worked via the TOIL procedure. Employees not on a fixed rota can take the time back via Hestia s flexible working hour s scheme. For them the central core time is 10am to 4pm when they are required to be in work. In addition to that, staff may take a maximum of 1 flexi-day every calendar month.
