Database schema / PDB service with monthly, 1 year, 2 year and 3 year terms Pre-Paid Subscriptions cannot be used to pay for unmetered services Unmetered services can not be exchanged for Pre-Paid Subscriptions Most Database services will have both metered and unmetered billing (very) beneficial for a non-flex environment (-50%) E.g. DBCS, JCS, DoCS, SOACS, Metered Pre-Paid Subscriptions are charged monthly or hourly against a rate card E.g. Extreme Performance service will burn down faster than an SE database Likewise a database server on 16 OCPUs (cores) will burn down faster than a 2 OCPU shape Typically for a term of 1, 2 or 3 years Unused pre-paid subscriptions expire at end of term Beneficial in an (extreme) flex environment (scale-up/down) 20% Discount for the monthly rate E.g.
