Business Domain Expertise. Kapsch Next Generation Back Office is a set of orchestrated small independent micro services modules fulfilling operational or commercial business processes. At its core, the system is designed to record and track every event in the system. This provides several key benefits. The system is auditable down to the transaction or event level, as well as from an aggregate position. This also offers powerful financial audit and reconciliation capabilities, that enables our solution comply with GAAP, IFRS and AASB accounting systems. Operational modules process the lifecycle of multimodal transactions, bringing them in from roadside systems (including interoperable/third-party), or other transportation systems (such as public transport or rail systems), identify vehicle or plate if required by business rules. They also reconcile payment with internal or external systems, provided by banks, payment service providers, external collection agencies and other tolling agencies. Interoperability features facilitate interactions with away agencies, and furthermore handling diverse interfaces with external third parties services such as skip tracing services, addresses, post mail, and vehicle register databases. The system enables accurate revenue collection through the management of unregistered and unbanked road users when no payment or account registration takes place, and finally a huge range of out of the box reporting features and real time business data analytics supporting from the basic up to the most complex operational needs.
