ALWAYS WEAR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT WHEN HANDLING THIS OR ANY OTHER CHEMICAL (SEE SAFETY CAUTIONS). * may be tinted with water based paint tints to function as a stain. Always test for colorfastness of materials to be stained. SURFACE PREPARATION Cleaning: - Optimum protection is attained when s are free of dirt and other contaminants before applying UltraBan. - Rhino Hide s UltreaMean & UltraMean-2 are recommended to pre-clean s. - Mold discoloration may remain if not removed before application. Some discolorations are permanent and are a result of deterioration and decomposition. - Residual staining is not an indication of UltraBan s encapsulating films penetration or performance. - Not compatible with chlorine bleach. Drying: - Extreme temperature and high humidity levels will affect drying time. - Dries to the touch in 30-60 minutes. - Complete drying in 1-2 hours. - Dries at the same rate as water. - Must fully dry before being exposed to rain or water wash off. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Coverage: - Estimated 200-1000 sq. ft. per gallon depending on. Greatest coverage on non-porous s. - Coverage varies depending on texture and absorption ability. - Overspray and waste in tools (rollers, brushes and spray equipment) will affect coverage. Tools: Manual garden pumps, rollers, brushes or submersion bath Tinting: See your paint dealer for the correct tint. Thinning: DO NOT THIN or DILUTE MATERIAL. Storage: Keep from freezing. Clean Up: Thoroughly clean with soap and water. Mixing: Blend thoroughly before application by shaking or mechanical stirring. Application: - APPLY LIBERALLY TO SATURATION. - Apply to clean, dry s when both air and temperatures are above 40 F. - For satisfactory results, apply liberally to saturation and remove excess product with a soft UltraBan soaked cloth or sponge. Materials which are absorbent and/ or porous such as wood, concrete, masonry, brick - apply UltraBan liberally to saturation. Multiple coats are acceptable. Non-absorbent, non or semi-porous materials, such as composite decking, vinyl, plastics, metal, fiberglass, and synthetics require a sample test for color stability and non-yellowing before complete application. Wipe these materials with an UltraBan soaked cloth or sponge to assure a uniform film application and to remove excess material LIMITATIONS - Life expectancy of the dried film is greatest on dry unexposed indoor s such as the interior wood of attics, crawl spaces, walls, wallboard and paneling. - Interior exposed traffic areas such as wood flooring plastic s, etc., will require periodic treatment and should be considered a maintenance product. - Exterior s such as wood or wood composite decks, fencing and siding, may require annual treatment. UltraBan enhances and maintains natural beauty and can be applied repeatedly. - Do not apply when or air temperature is below 40 F or above 110 F. - Do not apply if rain or any rinsing is expected within 12 hours. - Application to damp s is acceptable. - Do not allow product to freeze in the container or on the until fully dry.
