Location: Boko, Kamrup Rural Position: Program Manager (1) Salary: INR 26,000 to 28,000 (consolidated) per month+ta+yearly Increments About Centre for Microfinance and Livelihood (CML): As an Initiative of the Tata Trusts, CML imbibes the larger vision, values and goals of the Trusts, carrying along with it, its core competence in capacity building, linkage and facilitation. Currently, CML is intensively focusing in the states of Manipur, Assam, Tripura, and regions of Meghalaya, under its efforts of Skilling youths, establishing state of the art facilities for promoting Sports and promotion of rural livelihoods. CML is currently looking for suitable candidates to work in its new project tobe implementted in Boko block of Kamrup Rural area, in collaboration with Tata Trusts and National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). It is a 6 year project with key focus on promoting rural livelihoods through the orchard development model along with initiatives focussing on creation of sustainable community institutions, women empowerment, and skill building of youths and fostering marketing linkages for the farmers. The key responsibility areas: Social Mobilisation, Institution Building and Capacity Building of the community selected under the project Liasoning with the village level instutions and other similar stakeholders for accessing requisite support and exploring areas of convergence Ensuring timely achievement of project deliverables Assist Project Coordinator in planning, implementing and monitoring of project as assigned Ensuring designing and development of training modules and resource materials Assist the team and provide support in organizing, coordinating and supervising training and other project related activities at community levels Coordinating collection and analysis of routine program data Buidling on the MIS and closely monitoring the same Documentation of the processes, best practices and field level innovations of the project Respond to additional duties and responsibilities as when required. Contribute to project reporting requirements as needed Organize and provide support during conferences, workshops, training programs and information dissemination forums

Development of effective market linages for the grassroot farmers We d like you to have: At least 2-3 years of experience in the areas of Livelihood Project Planning Implementation, Institution Building and Social Mobilisation(desirable), Post graduate degree in Arts/Science, Social work, Agri Graduate/ Post Graduate, or in any discipline of BE, Fluency in Assamese and English (both written and verbal) will be an advantage Good computer skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

To effectively coordinate with the Project implementation team and ensure reporting commitments (narrative and financial), mid-term and end of project reviews. Undertake capacity building of Project team in the areas of agri and allied services To undertake monitoring visit to the field to monitor the progress of the project. Develop linkages with the horticulture and agriculture line departments for necessary support in the project activities Bring in new ideas with newer technologies in the horticulture related areas to ensure greater production Develop effective market linages for the grassroot farmers We d like you to have: A Graduate or Post Graduate in Agriculture/Veterinary Science with minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project implementation related to farm and off farm based livelihoods, Language Skills- Assamese, English

Detailed Job Description: Accounts Officer Job Title: Accounts Officer-1 nos Salary ( per annum): Minimum Qualification: Location: Type of Appointment: Rs.15,000 per month (consolidated) with annual increments. The final salary would depend on a combination of the incumbent s qualifications, experience and current compensation. M.Com/B.Com with experience in practical accounting. Proficiency in Tally is mandatory. Experience in development sector accounting will be an added advantage. Position requires ability to maintain IT compliable accounts, strict funder reporting. Boko, Kamrup Rural Six years ( Contracts will be renewed on a yearly basis) General Description: The Accounts officer has to maintain the entire accounting function of the project. Budget planning/expenditure monitoring/ financial reporting and compliance with laws and requirement are integral for the position. Support in relevant program activities will also be essential. Key Responsibilities/ Managing accounting and financial systems; Maintain full and accurate accounting records in Tally; Duties: Handle day to day financial transactions (cash and bank) Handle petty cash; Ensure deduction of applicable taxes from all payments; Perform monthly reconciliation of bank balances with fiscal records; Prepare budget and coordinate with program team; Coordinate with legal issues with legal consultant as required; Coordinate with external auditors for auditing and also with interanal audit process; Provide financial reports as per donor requirements in the formats; Support in relevant program activities; Competencies: Proficiency in Tally is essential; Good computer skills, especially in e-mails, internet, word processing and spread sheets; Sound communication skills in written and spoken English; Knowledge about FCRA Regulations and Society related Acts; Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a member of a team.

Implementation of Project activities through handholding and demonstration 2. Regular visit at the project villages under his/her supervision 3. Regular meeting with the villagers 4. Capacity building of the farmers. 5. Formation of SHGs/CBOs 6. Work as a team with CRPs in the repsective villages 7. Training of the Society leaders. 8. Pass on the objectives of the project to the selected Society members and general public. 9. Proper documentation and field data collection 10. Others as require by his senior officers.
