It is a 6 year project with key focus on promoting rural livelihoods through the orchard development model along with initiatives focussing on creation of sustainable community institutions, women empowerment, and skill building of youths and fostering marketing linkages for the farmers. The key responsibility areas: Social Mobilisation, Institution Building and Capacity Building of the community selected under the project Liasoning with the village level instutions and other similar stakeholders for accessing requisite support and exploring areas of convergence Ensuring timely achievement of project deliverables Assist Project Coordinator in planning, implementing and monitoring of project as assigned Ensuring designing and development of training modules and resource materials Assist the team and provide support in organizing, coordinating and supervising training and other project related activities at community levels Coordinating collection and analysis of routine program data Buidling on the MIS and closely monitoring the same Documentation of the processes, best practices and field level innovations of the project Respond to additional duties and responsibilities as when required. Contribute to project reporting requirements as needed Organize and provide support during conferences, workshops, training programs and information dissemination forums
Development of effective market linages for the grassroot farmers We d like you to have: At least 2-3 years of experience in the areas of Livelihood Project Planning Implementation, Institution Building and Social Mobilisation(desirable), Post graduate degree in Arts/Science, Social work, Agri Graduate/ Post Graduate, or in any discipline of BE, Fluency in Assamese and English (both written and verbal) will be an advantage Good computer skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Detailed Job Description: Accounts Officer Job Title: Accounts Officer-1 nos Salary ( per annum): Minimum Qualification: Location: Type of Appointment: Rs.15,000 per month (consolidated) with annual increments. The final salary would depend on a combination of the incumbent s qualifications, experience and current compensation. M.Com/B.Com with experience in practical accounting. Proficiency in Tally is mandatory. Experience in development sector accounting will be an added advantage. Position requires ability to maintain IT compliable accounts, strict funder reporting. Boko, Kamrup Rural Six years ( Contracts will be renewed on a yearly basis) General Description: The Accounts officer has to maintain the entire accounting function of the project. Budget planning/expenditure monitoring/ financial reporting and compliance with laws and requirement are integral for the position. Support in relevant program activities will also be essential. Implementation of Project activities through handholding and demonstration 2. Regular visit at the project villages under his/her supervision 3. Regular meeting with the villagers 4.
